You sound like a fantastic engineer to work with/under. I work in HPC (I think a similar role as you did - Atkins NI3 buildings) and you have shown me how important it is to learn about the smaller projects, I feel that's where you really learn engineering. Thank you for your commitment to young engineers, your videos are an incredible help!
Sir, I am a fresh graduate. could you upload more videos about basic designs.... it will help me to learn basic design by myself and do videos about what are the design softwares we should know when we work in the UK
I remember this guy at work that love to gatekeep don't be that d-bag.

😂
Daz any advice on finding CPDs? Particularly online hosted CPD
Perhaps a silly question...but do you think the onus is on graduates to do their own CPD and not pester senior engineers, or should they ask as many questions as possible? Or should they try strike a balance? Asking as someone starting as a graduate structural engineer in 3 months!

Never be afraid to ask questions. Better to ask early on since the expectation in your first few years is you won’t know much. I think it should be a balance between graduates and more senior engineers to ensure cpd gets done. I’d always be concerned if a graduate never asked me anything.
