Im from India and I want to do my master's from USA and get a job. I'm in my 4th year of undergraduate right now. Can you please answer these for me, pleeaasseeee Can you please tell me if u did any research work or write any thesis to graduate, like I see many universities having 4 credit hours for research in masters, can you please explain that. Also can you please tell me if it's necessary to have research papers published to get admission into graduate colleges. Or should I have some work experience before I apply for masters And can you please make a video on the best universities/colleges for masters in civil engineering What are your views on structural engineering vs CPM. Which ones better. I love SF and BM diagrams and designing concrete structures but in India and USA, different codes are used so I was thinking of taking CPM for my masters. What do you say? Love your videos ❤️

I think it's really cool your colleages are like that, this would also motivate me so much. At my old company I got a mini frying pan and 50€ for christmas, I was like, lol, wtf. No present can sometimes be better than a present that appears like a joke in comparism to salary.

For your Bad Company Culture example, my boss does that. I remember explaining to him that I didn't learn, ( specific subject) in school and he proceeds to berate my level of education. So I'm currently trying to get experience so I can hopefully leave after about a year for a more healthy company.

What’s your opinions on civil engineer consultants (structural, geotechnics, environmental) working from home? It seems to be becoming a common thing, is it here to stay in for the long term even after covid is gone do you think?

Hey Mat, I wanted to ask you a question regarding detailing. What exactly do you mean by ‘detailing drawings’? What are some sources for how to learn these skills. I’m a high school senior aspiring to be a structural engineer and I know this question is a little “down the road” for me but I was just curious.

I matter of wether it is suck or not. It is the engineer attitude him self that will steer the environment around him. Go out there and kick some butts and let them k ow who you are. 😎

I started my civil engineering career through mining industry. there I worked in one of the Aisa largest zinc mines and it's smelters then after two years I switched to a well reputed MNC consultant as structural engineer at lower salary in which I'm currently working in rapid transit and transportation department. It's been a two years here . I was worried about my career trajectory in mining industry that's why I switched to infrastructure sector even at lesser pay. Was it good career decision pls share your thoughts .
