This is not the best representation of these stances. These are the five basic stances of five animal fist Kung fu, but his form is weak.

@@giovelazquez8872 Look at his feet. He's off balance. For example his horse stance. His feet should be parallel to each other but they bow out. That stance isn't stable. Plus he's sitting way too low in it. His stance has no strength. You should be low enough to balance a staff on your legs and stable enough to take a kick from any direction. A weak horse stance makes every other stance weak because horse is the foundation for everything else. He's got bad posture. He's slouching forward. If he corrected his posture and straightened his back then the rest of his stance would basically auto correct. And don't get me started with his cat stance.

@@giovelazquez8872 Ive seen your content. I've seen your sparring matches. Keep going and doing what youre doing. Along your journey you will come across many different schools of thought. My discipline is in traditional shao lin kung fu, judo, some boxing, and freestyle martial arts. Each one of these disciplines differ from each other but they all have the same core values which is proper form. Without it, the entire style counts for nothing. From a traditional stand point, his form needs some work. Its not just about the feet but the energy behind his movements. Without the mindset to be exacting in your core basics, your movements are empty. He has a school so maybe he was just tired after a long day. But even then, you want to put your best foot forward. I'm not taking away from him but in my opinion he can do better.

Good only for demonstration and health . I don't see any MMA fighters using any of them except maybe the horse stance.

By MMA, if you mean UFC, then I gotta break it to you. Most of all them are terrible at MMA. Open your eyes man.

I've never seen n MMA guy use a horse stance. You talking in a match or training?

Fighters use several of these stances (horse, bridge, bow) ALL the time in MMA. Y'all seem to think that fighters would pause mid stance to show you the form. That's not how it works in combat. They flow and shift from one stance to the other all the time and if you know what you are looking at you see them in every single fight. It's exaggerated in forms to exercise the muscles and control you need for the strikes to be effective.
