Shanks is monstruous but I think the fact that grown Momosouke effectively can damage an Admiral is a significantly underrated feat.

He has no god tier DF like WB or Kaido, missing an arm. And still, he can rival them. Recent chapters show that Luffy is just not there yet. Shanks is the person Roger entrusted the Strawhat to be the next pirate king.

my headcanon is normal CoC burst spread to all direction in a shape of sphere meanwhile this one was precisely control into thin line, so it can go further & it's effectiveness increase even to an admiral since it's densely concentrated haki line.

This is why the strong dont need devil fruit 😂😂this is what luffy needs if he has this he will be strong 😂

It doesn’t matter when it boils down Luffys fruit might be one of the only true necessities for the story. It has MAJOR implications and will be a major plot point move forward. Also Luffys Haki is all Yonko level as well fyi..

My possibly really stupid theory is that Shanks (& others I’m sure) can mix their Observation Haki & their Conq. Kind of like how you have stages of Armanent: Armament Haki then Advanced Armament & then Conq. Coating. So it’s like that but using Observation, that’s why Shanks can ‘nullify’ others observation Haki, use long range Haki shit like that, seems like he can see into the future of multiple places at once from range. It’s also possible he was actually Saving GB right here (not like he’s an ally, just maybe didn’t want to WG to find out about Luffy) he could have looked into the future & saw Jinbe Zoro Sanji Luffy & Yamato pack him up

This scene, while awesome, conflicts me a little on the nature of logia-fruits. Greenbull, a forest human, was absolutely blasted by perhaps THE strongest fire-based attack in the series and recovered as a logia-person. Even if you don't account for Momonosuke not using haki, the order of superiority should still count, and counter greenbull no? Just like how Magma did with Ace's Fire-logia.

Why you cut off the Uta scene?

it looks like his conq haki overpowers greenbull's devil fruit powers, he exits his logia/tree form and the branches/roots disappear

if it was old luffy, he would have just run towards shanks to meet him not thinking anything at all. But now fluffy is matured enough to know that their promise is not yet over to return the straw hat, he must surpass his idol.

His observation haki probably was keeping track of Wano, since he was close to it. You have to keep in mind that Shanks's Haki dominance is another level, even compared to Luffy

The anime nerfed shanks. In the manga greenbull was terrified. It was like his soul left his body when shanks attacked him. But in the anime it looks like he is casual about it. It looks like shanks warned him and and greenbull took the warning and peacefully left. But in the manga it looked more like a threat and it looked as if shanks had punished him.
