To the riginal sound trck so just imagine me having to comprimise to do it as a solo? People have cried so I guess it went over just fine. It will always be a wedding celebration favaourite! Well, the goosebumps are back once again!!! It only goes to show that a broken heart and spirit can be healed in time. There is nothing so painful as to be left heart broken and to lose the love of your life at the time, to be in the arms of another. Lessons learned may seem very hard at the time, but in the end "we" conquer it and become better persons because of it. I know I have been broken before. Lesson learned, "don't let the past dictate your future" begin your new journey!!

It's always great when a classic is updated. I am a big Diana Ross fan and I don't believe it is necessary to even compare the two versions...the 1981 version is the classic...this one is the remake, and since Lionel Richie wrote the song, he can sing it with whomever he wishes...I do not think he means to disrespect his original. He is promoting his new project. Bravo to the original and to the remake...much the same way I embraced the Luther and Mariah version years ago.
