hipnotyq The players also seem to be on a different level. More adept. I was in awe seeing that Brooke and Kylie (S1 Au) went on for nearly 6 hours on the challenge Ozzy (Cook Islands) - regarded for his athletic ability-went for 2.5h.

Australian survivor is so far ahead of the US version it's nuts. They figured out its more than just gameplay, it's story telling that keeps fans interested.

Living in Adelaide I've personally ran into Magic Matt from season 1 a couple times. Actually a great honor as I am a magician too. Was a bartender at a new pub last year, opening day him and his fiance was there. Got to make a couple great cocktails for them 😁

Unfortunately he will be a target early I think.

IMO still too early for ALL STARS version. Should do a few more seasons before AS. Follow suit from the US version and come up with some more creative versions first then hit us with All Stars ;)

Aus had a pool of 95 people, the us had 106. It’s not that big of a difference

As much as I love the bloke, it's a bit of an overexposure to have him return when this is only the 2nd time for some of these people. I say this hoping that when the inevitable Survivor season when they have multiple countries playing that producers won't think he has had too many shots and have him teach the Yanks how the King plays ;P Having said that, I am hoping that one of those who makes it to final 3 has him as their loved one.

I feel as if they put him on All stars, they all have good stories and people who have won beforehand and it would’ve been more fair. But I totally get where you are coming from and maybe in a few seasons ahead he can come back and play again :)

I hope any chance of the old champion alliance forming again goes tits up. That alliance made 3/4 of that season pretty boring. Matt came off really entitled at final tribal too blaming Sharne for his exit.
