Everything is easy to know in hindsight. The trash talk really got Tua angry. And he bottled it up, then released the fury in the ring.

This is very straight up honestly Shane it's very amazing how honest he delivered this story thankyou for the interview Shane you're legend

fk all the haters, Shane is a warrior, he doesn't need to rectify himself to anyone, it's the name of the game, trash talk will always sell a fight, and it did. if anything I wish Tua had used the same buildup to beat Lenox Lewis, cause anyone that stood in front of Tua that day would've been knocked out, David was fighting at his most dangerous weight, short an sharp and full of power.

I remember watching the fight. I remember the look on his face, it was the face of fear, his eyes were bloodshot red, his heart would’ve been pumping out of his chest. And it showed. So if Shane says that wasn’t nerves, than I guess that was pure fear, he was scared and it showed in the way he boxed.
