reminds me of our defunct railway yard which closed over 30 years ago, do they still have the overhead belt system to run their lathes, antique to say the least.

I worked in a forge in the uk making flanges for many years,unfortunately health and safety came in and ruined it,you wouldnt get away with the way they made them in this vid in the uk,health and safety made it impossible to compete

In UK too. We are the people with who have to control things so that people go home to their families at the end of the working day. The admin "H&S" - they mainly need to put meals on their tables - sometimes complex edicts which put up risk and strangle the work. The legislation isn't so bad - it's the implementation where it goes badly wrong. Better to live and have a worthwhile job, even dealing with some risk, that to be adrift in a "zero risk" inactivity.

They don't need no sticking safety regulations, they kill 10 coolies no problem, can replace that afternoon with 10 more, don't care about no resporator, safety cages, gards, lockouts, chopped toes, lost ears, lost hearing, lost eyes, no fingers, no proplem big boss still get paid and find more coolie. A million coolie for 1 job. Kill 50, 100 OK.

That is about the wage - $3 to $4 an hour in urban areas, much less in rural areas. But you can eat well on these wages in most parts of China and wages are increasing rapidly.
Absolut no safety work 🙈 katastrophal - in germany they would close just in time for this unsafety work

Concordo con il commenti che dice che state lavorando come se foste indietro di 200 anni. Dal punto di vista mentale, sicurezza, pulizia e organizzazione interna. Non si vede che siete al top. L'unica forza che avete e che quei lavoratori stanno lavorando gratis, che talmente la paga è bassa che praticamente lavorano gratis.
