It is a beautiful home and I love the way they have decorated and painted it. Looks very nice. But, I agree, nothing will ever take her and the kids out of the house. Every video and picture I see of it now, I just see them in it and all the videos she created in their kitchen, living room and back patio. The one of them walking down the sidewalk with Bella pulling Cece in the wagon. The one of her hosting all the ladies at her house for a clothing party and introducing new flavors of Thrive bars. So many memories and wonderful times. It’s still so hard to believe someone’s family was there… until they weren’t anymore. And they’ll never be back. Prayers still, for her family and friends.

That’s what social media is for, but to actually make a point to get in your car as if you have nothing better to do and drive by the house, take pictures …now you’re getting into stalking territory. It’s a new family, house has been remodeled, just leave these people alone. I have to give them credit for at least wanting to attempt to buy the house and turn it into something happy, versus something evil, just sitting there empty. I’m sure the neighbors at least appreciated the attempt. This other family was trying to do something good, until a bunch of nosy people had to go and ruin it.

I believe her and the girls come back every once in a while.they spent so much time their. Were else could their energy go. U cant kill energy but u can convert it for the better energy . esxuse me to say .but if they didn't have it blessed or cleansed prayed over in some way. And my thing is i dont no if they did or not. But me i would raise all the windows play holy music for a few days. And differently have bibles open sitting around tohelp lighten the feeling . i didn't ever like the vibe eaither from the very bottom myself. Those ugly colors looked like a huge dark dougon. Standing over all other houses. With no yard.the yard was a joke if u have kids. Shannan worked so hard on that house. But the terrible things she did that i will take to my grave as well. I could go on and on. Lastly those freaking blasting full volume rain machines on with white noise. U never do white noise u just asking for things to come in and out on yes and a lot of land in the US happens to already becursed from the Indians and witchcraft.furniture looks staged did they ever live their any full time ? I heard the children wasn't told or new about the murders. Were did that family come from then anyways? The lady who got it was a relator herself. Oh oh one last thing i noticed same kitchen appliances curtains and rugs. Same fridge in basement. Shannan had OCD as myself u no its spotless. But still could u eat from that kitchen ? I could imagine there might be residual hauntings, which are the type of hauntings that occur the same way each time, like a tape playing the same content over and over again. These hauntings happen after a traumatic death such as an accident or a murder. The violence and emotional stress associated with a violent death often leave an imprint of energy at the site. There are supposedly hauntings of this type that "play out" on former wartime battlefields; Gettysburg is said to have residual hauntings.

I have thought of this too because that is the same carpet and same fixtures around the house. They were the original owners and lived there how long, 5 years? So a lot of them is still there. I even thought about their sweaty feet rubbing off on the carpet, as that naturally happens in homes. Even if they deep clean and shampoo the carpet, you could still find dna around the home.

I don't think Shanann would have wanted that. I believe she would have wanted a family to cherish that house like she once did. Also there are 2 ways you can look at the house. An awful reminder of the lives lost, or the beautiful reminder of how they lived. When such negative things happen it's good to search for some positive and lean on that. Besides her parents and brother, this is the last reminder of who Shannan and her children were.

I like that they left the bathroom and laundry room colorful, in her honor. I can’t tell if it is the same shade of blue. Seems like she had it maybe more of a teal blue? I could be wrong. I bet they probably chose the more neutral color palette for future buyers. It is sad for those of us who adored Shanann and her colorful home and personality, but of course they would aim to neutralize everything if they want to sell it. Plus to also try to make it look different than how everyone has seen it in the crime videos and footage. I personally like how it looks but I also feel like it won’t ever fully be anyone else’s home, but Shanann’s. I most definitely still notice the light fixtures, carpet, cabinets and handles, bathroom fixtures are all the same. Not that people should change things that don’t need changed, but my eyes naturally look for those things that I’ve seen in Shanann’s videos.

I bet the slow drive bys that probably never stop makes you feel like no privacy. I think that is why the original neighbors on each side moved, bet the Millers did not think about all the driving by or thought they could handle it. I would not be surprised if people still stopping, getting out and walking around in front of the house, taking pictures and probably some even stepping on the property. It is a beautiful house, colors look much better but so much wasted space in that house, high ceiling in the living area, why do you need that sitting area upstairs with living rm, den and a full basement...... that just has to eat up your utility bill and big house on zero lot, not for me.

I’ve wondered about them reselling it so publicly this time around. I know the listing says no pictures or videos while touring the home but I wonder how they can 100% protect the house from that happening. They sold it to the Millers so privately and without even listing the full address online. Now it’s just like any other house being sold. Wonder if they can still maintain a contract for any new buyer, to protect the home and those who have passed.

All you have to do is watch the police body cam footage and the search dog footage, there are VERY obvious shadows, EVPS, etc.. it will always have the energy of what happened there. Unfortunately, too, the house's dark history make it a magnet for people to drive by, etc.. so new owners will have to understand that goes with the territory of buying an infamous property. RIP Shannan, Bella, Cece and Nico.

Agreed. Like The Amityville house with the DeFeo murders. RIP to all.
