The thing is, whatever US and Europe is facing now - mass immigration, invasions, community clashes, etc. India has already faced these issues in the form of Islamic invasions, Muslims dividing this nation in three, Kashmiri pandit genocide, genocide of lakhs of Hindus, communists editing our school and college syllabus, etc. we are still together and we are still diverse because Hindus fought back to retain our identities. If Shivaji maharaj, other Hindu kings and common people would not have fought back, all the Indians would have converted to Islam and the remaining would have to pay heavy taxes just to stay alive. Sometimes the majority need to fight back if minorities impose their religion and culture on them! India doesn't need to learn about equality and inclusive societies from the West. We are tolerant but we also know how to keep balance and maintain the diversity. The new age communists want to destroy this fabric by using caste and class divisions along with Islamic radicals... What's worrying is that they are emulating US and Europe and bringing devastation here-again! We have already gone through such destruction and rebuilt India... Today, US and Europe are destroyed... India is not only abt Delhi. There is more.

I think only history you have studied is from Indian Govt Syllabus please try to read other way around too Hitler is evil in all Europe because English people never told the truth about Churchill so what you see or read at one side is not always be a truth,

Hyt R Why should I read my country's history in parallel with Europe? My country has a different social setup, we follow different culture and religion... We are country with a very rich history and one of the most ancient civilizations that spans thousands of years back... Who says that whatever happens in Europe or America is a benchmark? Only thing better in Europe or America is science and technology. Nothing else.

that is foolishness ,don't be a philosopher unless you are rich, there has to be no boundary to be a philosopher because philosophy is all about knowing yourself ,knowing the world as it is without any prejudices or opinions...once you become rich, the balance or control that was naturally there goes away and that is why most of the rich men feel lonely, strive for something else and feel deep sense of agony as even after attaining all the materialistic things, there seems to be nothing beautiful in life,we have umpteen examples for the same ,on the contrary, the poor, the saints who go door to door for making their both ends meet are really content and experience something so deep that the hankering for anything dissipates in them .

If India can have any muslim priminister he would be shahrukh khan.

Why do you think any other muslim cannot be a prime minister? I pray that we achieve a stage of communal harmony where the religion of the Prime Minister is irrelevant.

What he spoke from 18:00 mins onwards is something many of us as Indians need to listen to and think upon. Great ideas! That being said, it appears as pretentious and not his conviction. The reason i say this is because earlier in the interview he defines someone who he likes as a "friend" to be sycophant and somehow reinforcing what SRK believes in since he(SRK) flaunts that has seen it all, knows it all and hence he will do things his way. (While we all have a right to do what we please like) These two ideas that he stated seems contradictory.

Hi Gaurav, i don't know if I necessarily agree with you when you say Shah Rukh is being pretentious. He seems to be very aware of the world and current affairs. Also, a type of personal preference in a friendship might reflect but is not necessarily equivalent to a political opinion.

As a Indian Muslim, he certainly has the right to speak on what he feels the current plight of Muslims is, as per what he believes/infers. [And that is just his OPINION and not FACT]. And then as the same "concerned" Indian Muslim he can't hide from speaking out on the existing bigotry on a large number of issues that infect the Indian Muslim diaspora. [ Uniform Civil Code, Triple Talaq, Halala, Low Education and trust me , i can go on and on] Similarly, he would come and speak about any topic on Bollywood, but choses to be silent when an emerging star like SSR commits suicide. Is that conviction to be the rational voice? Whom do you fear? One can't be selective and thus either knowingly or unknowingly promote an agenda. Gotta practice what you preach. To my mind, He is a marketing guru who happens to have some acting skills and he should be considered as such. No Badshah and no King khan! ASAT.

In the whole interview, SRK bats for tolerance of others views and how India is become intolerant.... And then threatens twitter trolls to give address and then he will pickup them from their homes or come and beat them.... Only King Khan can do such double standards.... Watch his threat after 42 minutes of interval.....

Secularism can be practiced irrespective. of your religion -- I am a hindu, and practice all important rituals and festivals, but I completely believe that a person who is a devout Muslim is a good person. I believe that a christian should be allowed to practice his religion as safely as he can. And I believe that any person who truly believes in the essence of their religion is secular.

Neelima Pradhan yeah you wouldnt. He is extremely polite and he usually praises the person who praises him to be polite. He finds something positive to say about anyone he talks to. You would notice if you really heard him talk. You wouldnt know because it is foreign to the idea he talks about that we can respectfully disagree. That we can all have an opinion and still accept each other. Anyone who stands by the current regime would be oblivious to the idea. This is the reason why the country is going haywire.
