They are classical languages Ma'am. 6 Classical languages are there. Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Oriya and Samaskrutam (Sanskrit). Hindi unfortunately is not a classical language.

I'm from North India. I listened to this song when I was merely 6-7 years old. I fall in love with the Malayalam lyrics. But that time there was no internet. Years later, when I got access to the internet, I downloaded the lyrics & literally crammed it. I'm happy that now I can fluently sing the Malayali lyrics like the Hindi lyrics. South Indian languages have a special charm of their own. I hope I'll learn any one of them soon.

It is malayalam not tamil... The original lines were sung by Mg sreekumar a famous malayalam playback singer and a 2 time National award winner too.... He has also sung in bhool bhulaiya and done many movies with priyadarshan in malayalam

I am a north Indian from Delhi. I was listening to Buttabuma and someone in the comment section said that malyalam is a very sweet language, well now I know he was right. I always wanted to learn at least one South Indian language, I thought of learning Tamil but now I going for Malyalam and also there's a guy in my college who is Malyali..I am gonna learn from him ( apparently he has a crush on me so he won't deny, lol).
