But, you know what, this comment was totally hurtful because I could instantly recognise, from the moment she began the song, that it was Carnatic Music, and that she must be a South Indian. I have a very deep association with Telugu people, which you will never understand, and that made me equally fond of her. What I mean by all this is that never have prejudices against people. Though, I agree many in North are not aware of how rich South Indian culture is but that doesn't mean we don't respect Dravadians. As long as you have those prejudices against us, your vision will be clouded and you won't be able to see the huge respect we have for all of you. yes, I still wonder, why he is not giving such songs now. of course he is not getting many Movies, but even for few recent movies, songs r not like earlier, not sure why. his best songs came from Tamil movies, may be once he left Tamil industry or distanced, he could not able to give these kind of sweet songs anymore. he is not that much older also, he might have given lot more great albums. sadly that did not happen. but all his old Albums are each one is the best, not just in Tamil, in Telugu also Songs are sensational at that time. In recent times all those r getting popular in Hindi also.

For creative plus like AR Rahman it is not possible to compromise on his quality. Do watch his interview with Arijit where he admits and even Arijit one of the busiest bollywood singer says he gets no inspiration or motivation from today's music like the way AR Rahman's music does
