My mom Mamabear had an almost similar situation to story 1, but the dealership was in my province(I'm Canadian by the way). A few years ago Mamabear needs a new car for work because her job, so we found a car at a dealership that a guy who we had bought some vehicle in the past owned and know us so he thought he could pull one over one us. Mamabear picked out a Blue 2009 Ford Focus SEL and put some money down on it and said she come back for it, well my mom comes back and he is try to sell the car to some other guy when my mom stopped him because he would have done it from right under our nose. The owner did eventually lose is business due to shady business practices like sell things under the table, so karma got him for something he would have done anyway.

I'm wondering what happened to the deposit.

Story 2: i really hope that op have a prenup, i wouldn't be at all surprised if he some day find himself in a situation where he is getting pushed out from his own home. And yes, that's most likely his home, not that wife's. And by the way, if op lets that son to move in, he will never get rid of him, he will stay there forever, maybe even with op's new ex-wife, but op is no longer living in that home.

Story 1: Give a person a reason and they will resent someone for a long time. Story 2: Ok, 1) where are the girlfriend's parent in this situation? 2) Where is Stepson's bio dad in this decision? and 3) why the hell are they worried about room if they are just going to wake up when the baby needs something? If anything, it makes the job a little easier to go to the baby by a few steps than a few feet. Oh, I get it, they want op and his wife to watch the baby while their sleeping. Then the cycle repeats a year or two later. Yeah, the stepson and girlfriend will not leave the moment they move in because they with have more than 1 kid and not enough money to move out. Story 3: Ok, for op, ultimatum time. Tell the In-laws either shut up or get uninvited. As for fiancé, if he makes a fuss about his mother and sisters not getting invited if they still making an issue then call off the wedding and dump him because this is your wedding too and he only have half the say in the set up. Story 4: Op needs to warn his daughter about what is going to happen with her and her friend's friendship and what the friend's mother is going to do. Story 5: Stepsister had it coming.

Story 3: You need to get your fiance on-board with you. If he keeps siding on his mother's and sister's sides, to keep the peace, you'll be dancing to their tunes your whole life. He needs to step up and support your or the both of your plans. He is a grown man and needs to tell them "this is what we both want" and for them to bud out of controlling your lives. It's not just the wedding, it's both of your independent, adult lives.

Second story yes you definitely are and the wife needs to boot you out children come before anyone else including you

The last one reminds me of my friends preteen daughter. She normally would bully my friend(her mom) with comments. This time she kept making comments to me when we were out in public about everything. Finally we were in a store with girls around her age and she kept asking if i farted(no i definitely didnt). I turned around and said no did you fart because youre kind of smelling a bit bleh? Is that why youre trying to pin it on someone else? You do know who ever smelt it dealt it right? That was the last time she tried that BS with me.

Wait I’m not a lawyer by any means but couldn’t the guy in the car story have also sued for breach of contract or something to get his $1000 back from the dealership? He said he put a deposit down and unless they gave it back to him he should have sued for nearly 2 grand from this place. Glad karma came for them though.

I hate that if you see a short video under this one, and you make a comment under it, the comments show up on this video as well. Like WTH? But going back to the main stream of videos, and you only get to see 4 shorts at a time. But those comments stay only on that short video. (That I know of...) Why would they do that? the sister of the partner. for example James and Amy are married. James has a sister called Mary. Mary would be Amy's sister-in-law. The "in laws" meaning family through marriage (since it's a relationship recognised by law)

Second story. The OP isn't the jerk and the stepson and his girlfriend are irresponsible idiots for one they fooled around without him wearing protection and her switching out her birth control pills and second when these two YOUNG fools found out about it, they probably decided on the spur of the moment to keep the baby instead of aborting it, not realizing how much a child will have an impact on their jobs/careers and since they are so very young their is a high chance they won't be together in the near future. Finally since they opted to keep the baby they are definitely going to need their parents help in raising the child while they figure out what the hell they are going to do with their lives from now on. So OP has a choice to make either satisfy his wife desire to help her son out and experience what it is like to be a father and grandfather at the same time or the OP can decide not to help out his stepson earning him the ire of his stepson and his wife which may lead to an eventual divorce. Fourth story. The OP isn't the jerk and I'm sorry for his daughter that she is going to lose her best friend and yes while it will set her back I'm sure it will only be for a little while and she will eventually make new friends.
