Hells. This just further confirms it to me that the dark path really isn't the way to go. She is too good to be a sharran. Showing sympathy to her predecessor, even risking dereliction of duty just to do something an average sharran wouldn't even bother to do.....what makes this worse is knowing that sharrans are often tasked to kill those who are close to them as an act of faith, and after all this I can imagine that she might refuse.......and in any case, once she outlived her usefulness to Shar she will be replaced the same way the previous Mother Superior was....Larian really knows how to make you feel the weight of the consquences of your actions.

She's been showing doubt the entire game and the only way she actually goes this path is if the player pushes her to pursue it. You find out that they could never mold her into a true Sharran for 30 years. Of course she's going to stray again, especially now that there's nobody to mold her anymore.

Spoken like true dnd player. And i agree. Realistic epilogue for her wouldve been like She wont bother to come or her memoried were wiped.

@@ladyselin35 Yep, she disobeyed Shar by even being at the party. Then she proceeds to disobey her some more during the party. And she's already having doubts again. Either Shar will find a way to erase her memory - and this time she'll force her to forget Tav too - or she'll have her killed. That, or Shadowheart will eventually find out the truth, leave, and hunt down Tav to kill them because they were supposed to be her most trusted, yet betrayed that trust by encouraging her to become a mindless Sharran and withholding the truth from her when she had her memories wiped.

@@joostleisder1956 Remember last justiciar in shars gauntlet? he called Shadowheart weak because she thought a Sharran is a friend and they shouldnt kill eachother. He said he will kill her and clean the weak name of Shar.

This feels so wrong. Even brainwashed she doesn't like it.

Makes sense. There's a reason why the Sharrans had to use the Mirror of Loss on Shadowheart so often, her better nature would always rise to the top in time without the Sharrans wiping the slate of her memory clean so very often

Yeah, I feel like they dropped the ball on this one. The original ending implies that she will enjoy her new role and converting people to the Dark Lady's embrace and this one retcons that.

From this dialogue you still get the impression that Sharrian Shadowheart has second thoughts on what she's doing. She is faithful to Shar, but it seems more out of duty, since she regrets not being able to express her feelings freely. This doesn't happen with Selunite Shadowheart, so I fell like this last path is the best for her. But that's the beauty of the game, so many choices, so many possible outcomes :)

She also misses the time in the group, she doesnt seem very evil also not happy. But she seems very confident. I also like the good ending much more, bc its about knowing the truth and not forgetting anymore. And a nice little story about trust and help.

@@user-hf1dv3wt3l Yeah, I feel like her two dialogues where she expresses frustration feel kind of out of character from the way the rest of her dialogues in this scene go. Otherwise she comes of being very confident. It's only been 6 months, I don't think that's enough time for her to feel the deep fears she expresses when talking about Viconia, that's the kind of dialogue you would expect after spending years or decades ruling. It's too early to have those kinds of insecurities.

Definitely Selunite Shadowheart seems happier, especially romanced Selunite Shadowheart. She seems very happy to live in a farmstead, surrounded by animals and flowers.

​@@MistyKathrineI would honestly be worried from day 1. Who knows when Shar orders Shadowheart to train her own replacement. It sounds like a stressing life, always having to worry when you will be replaced.

@@dianabialaskahansen2972 Shadowheart has been a cleric of Shar for 30 years, none of this should be surprising or shocking to her. Clerics of Shar call themselves martyrs because they know their lives are eventually forfeit to Shar, they understand this, that's a big part of their faith. Considering Jaheria talks about the humility Shadowheart shows for her new role, it just really feels out of character for Shadowheart to be having such doubts about it just 6 months later. I feel like the writers really dropped the ball on her epilogue and I hope they make some tweaks.

Also fun fact, you get selunite kill parents epilogue if you select “maybe it’s best we are separated so I don’t open old wounds” (or something like that) after the final boss fight

a variation of mother superior's robe, since she's the new mother superior of the cloister. its her default outfit in the epilogue if she's on the Shar path

I'd love to know which MODs the player used to make this. The beautiful Drow actually looks like a female, which is impossible with the vanilla game.
