It was so funny playing with my co-op partner, the first time Shadowheart was my lovely Selune loyal wife, then we play again more evil and he gets fucking dumped for Shar lmfao.

In my gameplay i don't have to do anything i let her decide this all by herself and she choose to betrayed shar

First time I failed the check and she betrayed me, so I picked her up and yeeted her into the shadowfell, nightsong was pretty shocked....

Looks like you've failed her even before that. In my playthrough I stayed silent, letting Shadowheart to sort this out by herself, and she chose to spare the overgrown pigeon.

@@user-li5cr6wv5b Sorry to burst your delusion but no. If you equip the dark justiciar armour you find in the shar's gauntlet you auto fail the check. Reload your save and take the armour off.

@@ericneo2 She was wearing both justiciar armor and helmet, the spear was in her inventory, she was taking each trial personally. I didn't make a single roll or otherwise tried to influence her decision. It was without a doubt her own choice.

@@user-li5cr6wv5b Don't confuse the two, the justiciar armour and dark justiciar armour are different. If you wear the dark justiciar armour set or equip the spear you will fail the check.

funny thing is... she aint dead she is immortal and trapped there, shar has been using her to awaken Dark Justiciars so after we left she is reborn... sad

Aylin states in this cinematic that she's now received "true death" from the spear. The Dark Justiciars that were in the shadowfell there were killing her over and over again yes, but only because they did not possess the Spear of Night.

I just beat this route and my shadowhearts dialogue is different from yours. In mine she doesn’t seem to reject me somehow. I’m so confused.

This game is so complicated. So many branching conversation lines and such. In searching out a solution for my problem I've seen a number of different situations they've created. I just realized about 1/2 way through act 3 that I didn't have the right conversation with her in act 2 and now that relationship is never going to finish. I'd say its a bug as it wasn't a serious plot point, just that if you don't ask her about herself enough you won't trigger the right line to allow you to complete the relationship.

Can you still be a Paladin without breaking your oath while letting Shadowheart go this way?

Vengeance is the way to go for sure. The other oaths can be broken in so many more ways It's almost hard to keep it. @@rorp24

@@bionic1matt my friend broke the oath of vengeance, get it back and after a choice to kill somebody lost it again. It was one of the most hilarious shit I've ever seen

...What if Tav is a cleric of Shar as well?

I think Shadowheart is the only one who can select Shar as a deity.

Barring mods, Shadowheart is the only party member that can be Sharran. There is some interesting dialog if you're playing a Selunite Tav/Dark Urge, for what that's worth.

Yeah, I had to revert back to the pre-shadowfell save to undo that decision. Playing tactician and don’t usually do this, but Shadowheart just flat out breaks up with Tav but says maybe she can string him along if he agrees to wait like a puppy dog. Maybe there exists some pathway to win her back as a dark justiciar, but you have to role play “that” guy. lol. nope.

Music kinda kills the intensity
