There's huge difference between early and late NG cycles. Most of the really OP weapons on NG, NG+ is getting so weak on NG +7

37:03 It does show in your stats, you were just looking at the wrong weapon slot. Weapon slot 3 goes from 657 before shriek to 800 after. Cheers Oro!

very late but i want to say im very grateful to your playthrough especially the bosses, as it allows me to enjoy the moves they do and the music of the fight which i was unable to do during my gameplay !

I hated Rellana on my NG+6 character, most of her attacks my first time against her damn near one shot me every time. I had a rough time learning the movesets for the major bosses. But somehow still managed to beat the DLC on the character

With the daggers does it count as a throwable weapon and if so does that mean we can use a talisman like the axe talisman,small jar talisman, and various other items to buff it more? Also if the throwable dagger weapons do count as projectiles you can buff the range with that one arrow talisman right, as well as the one that can buff head shot dmg

The entire savage lion's claw combo has about the same poise damage as a single vanilla lions claw, so I don't think it's been fully outclassed by the new one if you like slapping around big boys with lions claw hyperarmor and charged R2s

Alternatively you can use the small jar talisman and the hand of millicent to buff both the fact it's a throwable and doing multi hit

Like 75% of my deaths are still from fall damage lol.

Fought Rellana in NG at lv 120 and scadu lv 5...took me around 45 maybe 50 attempts, making it the boss i died the most against in the serie...second and third place are probably Malenia & Orphan of Kos, but this boss had me try and retry so many different strategies, each of them being easily countered by something else she would do. At the end i just went "raw" ... Bloodhound fang, "negate damage" physick, and "uplifting aromatic" perfume, both of which i would save for phase 2, to have at least 2 free openers during which just run in and deal as much bleed buildup as possible.

Guard counter with the huge black iron mace trivialized the fight for me. Killed her first try on NG. Got an EXTREMELY satisfying stagger/crit at the very end.

I used the npc summon and a broken jump build and it took me like 10 hours or maybe 2 days of playing on ng+7 on scadue +3 to get this boss, I was 2 trys away using ash (never have I used one before) this dlc is fucking nuts, messmar took less tho
