Shaded Four Patch Technique Sheet

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Learn how to construct an oversized Shaded 4 Patch unit and trim it down with your Tucker Trimmer® tool!
The Shaded 4 Patch is a great unit for design, but up until now it was challenging to construct the unit slightly oversized and trim to the perfect size. However, using the method Deb pioneered on her Shaded Four Patch technique sheet, it's now easy to create those oversized units! That means that your Tucker Trimmer® is the perfect tool for the job!

Was reading one of my favorite quilting blogs tonight, Rose Prairie Quilts, and she posted this tutorial. I have always love this little block and your tutorial makes this block doable for me. I need to get your Tucker Trimmer. Thank You so much! I love it!

I LOVE Deb Tucker's rulers!! Trust me, they're the best investment you'll make for perfect blocks. I have almost all of them and keep them completely seperate from any other rulers I purchased in the past. I'll be purging my old rulers and giving them to a friend I just taught to quilt. The sheets that you get are fantastic as well!

Thank you Deb Tucker! I'm doing the pattern Links and I was really intimidated, but thanks to your crystal clear instructions I was able to do both the 6' and the 9' stars! Of course your rulers were essential, so I bought them all!!!

I purchase the the Tucker Trimmer and would like to make these units, but although I see a chart, I do not see where it tells me what size to cut the strips for the shaded 4-patch units.

I didn't see on the trimmer tool lines for squaring up to 3/4. That is, 2 3/4. Looks like you have to guess. I am working on a quilt that I have hundreds of little squares to square up to 2 3/4.
