She is good but gets beaten by large margins to often. When she beats jackson its by milliseconds but when Richardson loses, she loses by a mile like she gives up or something

Elaine's the GOAT of the 200.. if she can get her first 20-40 meters perfected than you're right.. her closing is her strength.. it all depends on if she/ her coaches discipline her start.. if they want the 100 m gold more than 200 than they have to prep herfor that lightning start.. she will win too if they do that.. she will be 2nd hands down if they keep the same training or shacarri smokes some weed

I am an American, of course I will back USA and Richardson! She needs to work in her start. That is where you will win it or loose it. And keep her mind on the track. Don’t worry about those who toss judgement on her. Sometimes being the lime light doesn’t do you any good. If interviewed, don’t get goated into making comments about ANYONE! She has one thing to do, get out there and run faster than everyone in the race. I believe she can do it. Go Sha’Carrie Goooo!

Given Shericka's program in the past, I doubt her opener will be blazing. Francis is not known for letting his athletes out full force. He times them perfectly for championships. So more than likely if they both show up Richardson will win. But I'm Jamaican so I'm rooting for Jackson of course. 😊😊😂😂

Facts. Franno works on different phases of the races leading up to the championships and especially since this year was the first since he never let her do any indoors she most likely won't be coming out guns blazing.

It’s gonna be a great time for sport for both the women and men all over the world. Jamaica has some great ladies, so is America and we will be here to watch and celebrate for the Jamaicans and the Americans and the British also, so come 2024 track and field

The highly anticipated track and field season is just getting started and the athletes are going to have to reset their minds from a resting stage and erase the incredible past racing year remembering the good results only and to continue to strive to achieve more. There will be some new faces eager to have their say and some returning faces keeping things very interesting . It's jus the pure spirit of competition and no b.s. There are other sports that are all dressed up and dandy but lack substance.I know this year will have lots of excitement and surprises and hopefully top last year and will show why Track and Field and not Tennis is the ultimate premier professional sport on Earth.

Sha'Carri Richardson, if she keeps the same mindset than in the World Championship, without bragging, she will win over any and everyone. Lane 9 so spectacular, she just kept super quiet, removed nails, hair extensions, (which looks fantatich on her though), said no words at all, and then made the run of her life and won. She repeats that process, and she wins the Olympics!

She's awesome. But pretty sure she had large extensions on at world's no? If I'm coach I don't sweat it until semis and finals of worlds, but wouldn't it be a bummer to lose out by 100th of a second because you had extra weight and drag for no reason?

It was incredible being at UCLA at the same time as Griffith-Joyner. What a breathtaking talent, there was so much excitement around track and field.

No one has to be won over to like Sha’ Carri, for Sha’Carri to run fast. In short she doesn’t need for everyone or anyone to be won over for her to have great success, especially you!

There will be so much smoke,the Olympic women's 100 will be hard to observe...Lord willing of course!

10.57 = ridiculous time, 3rd fastest. So the 1st & 2nd makes it even more ridiculous.

Shericka will be peaking for Paris, so don't expect her to be fast here. Speaking of which, Paris is going to be insane. Barring injuries, there are going to be some very fast performances in that race that won't get on the podium. And there could be some really fast times not even making the finals.

All the smoke ......deservedly. 100M W will be my fav to watch. I predict both ETH and SR breaking world record with SJ getting bronze in that order.

1st of all -- are SR and SJ racing against each other? Nothing on the Miramar site indicates so, or other press. . There's a W 100 and a W 200 so they could feasibly be running sep distances. Added, SR will basically be racing at home as she also trains just 1hr flight out of south Florida. I'm sure the fans and her team will be around. That said, curious how this pans out. This will be a wild year. The weight of the entire US weighing on SR's shoulders for the W100m, but I'd love to see a Caribbean sweep: 🇯🇲 🇱🇨 which would ideally allow SAFP to medal -- pick the order. 🙃.

Actually as good a race as she ran, I think she won because Shericka couldn't see her that far away and was focusing on Shelly-Anne. Shericka slowed up a smidge at the end.

It’s more unusual, than impressive.

It's hilarious watching FloJo break the record because when she gets on the ground her number is literally blowing in the wind 😅

The Miramar Invitational will be abuzz with excitement if them 2 actually show up, I don’t think Ms Jackson will be out to prove anything beyond making an appearance but you never know! The race will depend on where they are in their training, however I’m gonna start the hoopla by saying Ms Jackson will not lose another major race to ShaCarri again! I’m hoping a third party shows up and make it wild!

Richardson is so inconsistant you never know what to expect. We are now in 2024 and she has yet to even win a 100 or 200m race. Id like to see her put together at least 3 wins in a row. 2024 has not lived up to the hype so far

I know through history most victories do not come from lane 9, but if you put Usain Bolt in lane 9 do you think that man will win any less ????? So the lanes in a 100m or 60m race has ZERO to do with outcome. It's obvious traditionally the faster sprinters are put in the middle lanes for a better direct comparison and competition tension, but based on the performances leading up from the semi-finals. Not to take anything away from Richardson, but it's not like the girl ran a bend.....I just don't get why people go crazy with the outside lane victory as if the lane has some kind of determining factor in the outcome.....

Basically if you’re not USA or Jamaica pray and hope to keep up G.B. thinks they can compete,Italy talks crap USA has some athletes plain n simple
