I think the winning time is going to be much faster than 10.68. there are 2 10.6 runners in the final and one who can potentially be a 10.6 runner so the winning time could be either low 10.6 or high 10.5.

I disagree…Shelly isn’t winning this year. Shericka is going 10.6 for sure. ShaCarri is going either 10.5 or 10.6 for sure. TaLou is going low 10.7 for sure. Shelly may run a high 10.7 at best. Shelly has only run 10.6 for the first time in her life two years ago, and now has an injury with old age (for the sport). I’m not seeing how it is even possible to run a 10.6 with a knee injury. For the record, the reason Candice Hill, English Gardner, and many others became slow overnight is because of a knee injury…this is a very serious situation and if she wasn’t so brilliant, Shelly wouldn’t even have been running 10.8X today. Those 10.8’s were o she running her absolute hardest…ShaCarri today will jog a 10.8.

Guys this race is easy to call. Shelly Ann will win going away. This girl will drop her time to 10.5 easy. Shelly ann in the shape of her life. Now 2nd will be Sherieka, as she will come hard and ready. There is no way that Stephen Francis train athlete don't make the podium. Talou and Dina will fight for third. Shacarri down the line. Shaccarri has no start to compete in such a big race. you cannot run down any of the four top medalist. if she come with those lousy start" Shacarri " cannot medal. That race will be too quick to run back. No matter what top end speed you have there is no way you can run back to win a race that will end with a 10.55 or better. I am sure her top end speed will be match by Shericka and Talou. Shelly Ann will be gone and its a race to catch her, and as you know there is not enough real estate in the 100m for that to happen especially when she can run a 21.8 200m. Now The issue is not getting up with everyone for Shacarri, she don't start fast she as to build up her momentum. So even if her reaction time is good she still at a deficit. shelly Ann and Dina will be gone. they start fast and powerful. and they both have 200m legs fresh and strong in that 100m Budapest.

Likely will get flak for this but in the most recent race with Shericka vs Ta Lou, it looked as if Shericka was running very conservatively, as if she was practicing on how to run just fast enough to qualify for the next round at worlds. At the championships, this is a crucial trait many runners need but don't possess. Combine this with the fact that her coach came out and said (many months ago) that they don't train to win diamond league meets, and always peak strictly for WCs. If you don't believe me, re watch the race and notice her go into cruise control at around 60m. Don't be surprised if Shericka somehow wins lol

A lot of people would agree with you. Not sure if you watch RaesTake, but Rae said that Shericka wasn't going all out. Francis kinda treats these "lesser" meets like training sessions. Rae believes Shericka can win the double in the 1 and the 2, so don't be surprised if she wins.

I want Sha'Carri to win, but it's impossible to tell what will happen. Shelly-Ann seems to be off of her 2022 form, which is understandable due to her injury. Sherika has been very consistent, but has been unable to beat Sha'Carri. Sha'Carri has never broken 10.7. This makes for an exciting buildup. As long as these ladies are fit, healthy and strong, we will see something special in Budapest. Once Ms. Jackson gets this 3 weeks of a full sprint work and rest, she will do something spreshal 😅. Because she have been working tremendously on her start this year more than ever. Once shelly start fast there’s no catching her and once Sha cari gets into her top end speed, it’s all over and if Talou puts her best foot forward and run a confident race, we might have a new champion, a new bride, and not another year of playing braids maid.
