I beg the contrary and it depends on the situation. If it’s 100% acrylic (unless you’re baby or allergic) it’s a hard PASS!! As a knitter, I understand the material and how that adds to the movement of the fabric, the polyamide is there for supporting the yarn structurally and adds durability, it’s not for cheapen the made cost etc. For example, most kid mohair situation will always comes with polyamide because they are so fragile, the polyamide support the garment’s shape and give strength to the yarn otherwise it’ll fall apart. When you knit socks you need at least 10-20% polyamide along with your wool to make them durable. Then again, at the end of the day it’s your choice.

Very informative and very well explained. Lovely to see the clothes in “ real life”. Wanted to buy a silk vest but I wasn’t sure which one to buy…..but now I’ve seen that particular vest you wore in the video ,it has made my mind up thankyou.

I agree with you about being careful to avoid buying sweaters that contain synthetics in the fabric composition. My skin is sensitive and I have had to sell my Sezane’s that feel itchy. I adore my Sezane cotton fancy knit cardigan and in the future will only purchase the jumpers and cardigans that are cotton or merino wool.

I don't have sensitive skin, yet their wool itches me. They overcharge for the quality is too high so I generally pass. As a cool-skinned colored girl, I can't wear 70% of their warm items. We live and learn :)

I agree, I think that the knitwear that is 100% natural fibres is worth it. But I don't want to purchase the ones that have synthetics anymore x

@@AdelineLoke I have two of their jumpers. The Grant and the Nord. Both 100% wool. They fit and feel great. I've never tried any of their pants. I prefer to try on pants in person. Finding the right fit is difficult 🙄

I am also trying to be mindful about not purchasing pieces that contain synthetic fibers and it's quite challenging, when one is on a budget! Great video! ❤️

I agree, it's definitely hard when managing a budget. But then I remind myself that I would rather have a few really high quality sweaters over multiple 'okay' sweaters. ♥️

I have the tomboy shirt and even though it is good quality, it’s absolutely impossible to iron it and get rid of the wrinkles. My ironing skills are really bad but I asked someone who’s good and couldn’t get rid of them either 😢

I have a Betty in navy blue. Top 10 most worn pieces in my closet so far...so easy to style and comfortable!

It's an oldie from Arket!

Knits are running big these days. I’m normally a Medium Petite, but I usually size down to a S or XS and get a more flattering, but still not snug, fit. I bought a few of Sezane’s blended-fiber knits, with alpaca/mohair/nylon, but they are extremely itchy, even over a silk layer. I’ll stick to their 100% wool and wool/cotton blends in the future. BTW, I wear my many silk items daily, I just love the way they feel on my skin. A silk top under a cashmere sweater is so extremely comfy for winter. If it’s really cold, I’ll wear cashmere leggings or joggers over silk long johns - heavenly.

The oversized trend is making everything seem like they run large. Sizing down for a more fitted look, although it changes the look of the garment, is good for the female soul…❤🤗

Thanks for the video. Been meaning to order and was going for M or bigger, but unusual to french sizing these actually run big. Great to know, as my kid usually sizes up 2-3 times when ever it is anything french made 😅

I always had a no-synthetic rule because I have skin allergies to them. In a moment of weakness, I bought a few of Sezane’s synthetic blends because I fell in love with the colors and styles, but it was a mistake.

That's interesting because for me it's the other way round. I can't wear any type of natural wool unfortunately (unless it's a very low content in a blend) as it itches my skin terribly but tend to do fine with synthetic fibres like polyacryl or polyamid.

what size are you in US, I am US size 8, and not sure which size is good for me for Sezene cardigans and shirts.

How do you keep the Mia cardigan clean? Yours looks amazing for being 2 years old! A couple years ago, I owned a couple Gaspard cardigans and they both turned yellow under the armpits. Tried everything I could to get the stains out, but ended up just shrinking/ ruining both cardigans in the process. I really like the Mia and think it would be super versatile for my wardrobe, but don't want to end up with the same issue!

I normally wear a layer under my knitwear to prevent this from happening, and it also means I need to wash it less xx

The buttons on the beige Gaspard are made of real mother-of-pearl, while the buttons on the blue one are made of plastic. Nice video!

Purchased the Betty cardigan, and it's awfully unflattering towards the bottom. Not all boxed but very dangling . Anyone wants to buy? Would sell it for half a price. Too late to return.
