Another great video Victoria! Very informative and an excellent selection of jumpers/pants. I’ve given up on their pants … for now at least, the trauma is deep 😅 You look cute in all the jumpers, but yeah the bobbly non-scratchy one is a definite winner/keeper ❤

I was very surprised to hear that you find Emile cardigan very scratchy, I have one in light pink color and it isn't scratchy at all! It is one of the softiest knitwears I have from Sezane. Funny how people have different experiences with same materials.

I am french 🇫🇷 and following you since your vlog in Paris 😊 At the time, I was searching a video from Myrtille Beck's creations and found your vlog 🎥 Thanks to you, I discover the Loulou pants from Sezane 💕 My boyfriend (husband now !) proposed in 2021 while we were visiting London (my favorite town in the world !) 💍 My engagement ring and wedding ring is from Myrtille also ⭐ About Suzanne's sweaters : I think I have a skin as sensitive as yours. It's impossible for me to wear Sezane winter clothes : they are way too scratchy (even with a layer underneath). During cold days, I only wear 100% cashmere on bare skin : I love the brands Eric Bompard (french), Hircus (also french). The first one is considered like luxury but I never buy them new : either I buy them during sales or second hand. Hircus is more affordable new. You have 2 stories Bompard in London. Hope that helps 😊

sezane clothing is definitely made for thin thighed women! if you have any bulk on your legs and hips you are basically shunned as a freak (same of actually living in france tbh lol)

I am french yes and here thin thighs are really "important" (to white women), we are still kinda stuck in the heroin chic era it's sad. My hips widened after birth and everyone found it in their right to tell me how "wide" Id gotten.....urgh

Hi Victoria, Thanks so much for another great review. I am a bit sensitive and love following your charts for Sezane knitwear. But for trousers, I do own the Martin and I don't find them scratchy at all. (Granted, I've only worn them in the house for try-ons as it hasn't be cold enough yet for heavier wool blends). But this makes me think I'm perhaps more sensitive to scratch on my top half. lol! Wishing you a very Happy Honeymoon, and hope you have a wonderful time in Japan!

@@victoriasvlogYes, that's true. The materials differ a lot from colour to colour, and season to season perhaps. I have the navy blue in Martin, but I purchased them last spring, so it's very possible they produced them in a different fabric composition over time. I do recall sending back a pair of Damon now that I think about it. I loved the look of them sooo much, but I found them to be slightly itchy while others don't find them to be itchy at all. It's a bit of a mystery. lol!

Glad you tried the Matteo trousers, we have a similar hip/leg ratio so I skip on those trousers. Plus 100% wool? That's intensily scratchy. The Uniqlo trousers look great!

Go up a size in the trousers and get them tailored around the waist and ankle? I like the beige ones, but try going up a size and see what you think... tailoring is inexpensive thankfully.

Hi Victoria great video, i too am a fellow sufferer of the dreaded itch, mainly wool. Cant tell you how many knits i have given up on and got rid of. Now I won't buy anything if i have to wear a second layer underneath. inevitably i can always feel those pesky fibres!!! I recently bought some jeans from Sezane and found the finishing on the button holes terrible so many lose fibres, so much so the buttons barely went through. It was a real struggle i really annoying almost sent them back. I was surprised as i thought this brand was meant to be really good quality. I also brought their tom boy shirt and found the cut terrible on me. Shame as i loved the pattern. I wonder have you or any of your other viewers had any of these problems, or am i unlucky. I am new to this brand and wanted to love these pieces but so far i am a bit disappointed. I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon. xxx

Hi Claire, thanks for your feedback :) In my experience it’s a hit and miss with Sézane - I’ve returned a lot of pieces. I would e.g. stay away from any scratchy knits and (because of my body type) most of their trousers don’t look good on me 😅 There are however pieces that I wear almost every day, e.g. the Christie jacket 😊

I am not concerned with itchyness, but I hate shedding. Is the Emile Cardigan shedding on other fabrics you wear underneath and/or on your trousers? Thank you ❤

Hi there 🙋🏻‍♀️ oh that’s a good point! Unfortunately I didn’t look out for this and I’ve already sent it back because of the itchiness 😭 (but I think the shedding wasn’t as bad as with other sezane knits) I’ll make sure to include the shedding aspect in my future videos ❤️
