Cheryl Cohen Greene has been in private clinical practice as a Surrogate Partner and Consultant in Human Sexuality in Berkeley, CA since 1973. She was trained in the Masters and Johnson modality. She was on the training staff of San Francisco Sex Information for 19 years. She is a Certified Clinical Sexologist / Sex Educator and in 2004 she earned her DHS (Doctor of Human Sexuality) from the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco. Currently Cohen Greene serves as the Vice President of IPSA (the International Professional Surrogates Association). She is a frequent media guest, who has been interviewed on Larry King Live, the National Geographic Channel, the WE Channel, Joy Behar's Show, Say Anything, and CNN among others.
Her work with poet and journalist Mark O'Brien was adapted into a major motion picture titled THE SESSIONS starring Helen Hunt as Cheryl Cohen Greene.
Cohen Greene's memoir AN INTIMATE LIFE, Sex, Love, and My Journey As A Surrogate Partner, was released in January 2013.

i have cp not bad and i don't need a sexual assistant.. but i'm glad it's talked about... because i'm gay and disabled & sometimes i feel alone...
She seems like an incredibly kind person. :) Pretty inspirational. I'd seriously consider this line of work if I wasn't already in a relationship.

12:50 I strongly believe “the menstrual cycle” should be renamed “the ovulation cycle” or perhaps “the fertility cycle.” The onset of a “period” isn’t the beginning of the cycle. It marks the flushing phase at the _end_ of the fertility cycle. For example, we CONSUME nutrients at one end and excrete what we don’t need at the other. From this perspective, the flushing phase of a period isn’t much different from evacuating urine which happens every day.

I've been severely disabled since I was almost murdered at age 7. Although I can understand better than most how appealing a solution sex surrogacy appears to be, I'm nonetheless appalled by the spiritual vacuousness on display in this woman's talk.

This women must have one strong stomach!!!! Just the thought of someone with these type of disabilities is enough to make me vomit 🤮
