Sewing Table and Stool Part 4: Seat Cushion, Glue-Up, Finish, and Hardware
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video I complete the sewing table and stool by applying a seat cushion, pre-finishing with shellac, gluing up the table and stool, applying a top coat, and installing the table top and seat cushion fasteners.
In part 1 of this series ( • Sewing Table and Stool... ) I milled and machined the joinery for the bases to the sewing table and stool.
In part 2 of this series ( • Sewing Table and Stool... ) I construct the curly cherry veneered table top.
In part 3 of this series ( • Sewing Table and Stool... ) I pillow the through tenons, raise the apron rails, and taper the legs to the sewing table and stool.
In the past, I’ve shown SketchUp drawings to illustrate design elements and dimensions. To save time, I’m offering free downloadable SketchUp drawings on my website to anyone that wants a higher level of detail. Free downloadable plans for this build: www.alabamawoodworker.com/sew...

Great job and an excellent aesthetic decision, to use the banded sub base in the place of cording.

Thank you! When I placed the cording under the seat cushion, it just didn't tie in with the rest of the stool.
Came out great Huy! Really cool project.

Why did you change your logo?

The1122007 I did not own the original logo. Rather than have issues with copyright infringement, I asked a graphic artist friend of mine to design a unique logo.
