It was fun recreating this classic silhouette for Gene Marshall, Tyler Wentworth, and Grace. The original dress was a sparkly knit, but the recreated pattern can be used with silk, satin and even sequin fabric.

This is SOOO beautiful!! I actually have the pattern for this dress for Barbie (except for the gloves...which i can make without a pattern). I had a hard time finding it though!! PS i saw that bent pin when you were doing the zipper, and had a good chuckle. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one lol!

I got the Barbie bug with the hype for the new movie. Lots of different styles to come, not all will be recreations of former looks.

Beautiful but good thing. Barbie doesn't have to walk because it's too narrow at the bottom

The patterns I sell are for 15-16" fashion dolls. There is an older Barbie pattern with a similar design, McCall 8552.
