Hope you have lovely weather for your visit like we had. Here's a stat John managed to do his run number 527 at Sewerby event 526 - bad planning! 😁
After all the park runs you have done you are well qualified to judge. Keep on keeping on. Best wishes on the next.

You won't be disappointed, Simon.
Beautiful course which is now on my “to do” list. Looks right up there with Nostell, Conwy, Delamere and Lyme. Completely out of the box I also like Tawd Valley 😮

We've run all of those except Lyme and Tawd Valley. Yes a random pick. When we were in Milton Keynes the parkrun venue looked pleasant. I guess that's the case in Skelmersdale new town too?

@@tworunningbrooms, Tawd an interesting mix of woodland, housing estate and kitsch town planning. Weirdly wonderful. Watergrove is also another very interesting course, especially on a beautiful Autumnal day.
I love Sewerby. Visited last week for my 100th but didn't film, but definitely one I want to vlog. Fantastic drone footage

Hopefully, you'll be able to have a run near the sea even if it's not parkrun. 🙂
Super parkrun . Scenery was stunning and apart from the steps it looked good underfoot. Happy to hear that the toilets are good, always important. Looks like you are both over the covid now. PS Nice haircut there John.

Thanks Peter it's that time of year for a haircut. John still has a lingering post covid cough, but apart from that, it seems to have shifted.
That does look nice - they've put every terrain and vista into 5k 😁

Yes, it's a superbly varied course. We tend to go in spring/summer but would love to run in winter, too, if it weren't so far to drive.
One of my fav, Parkruns had a win there in March 11th ‘23 (18:57)

Nice one Chris. It'd good to cross the line first isn't it? I think I've had a couple of first finishes there including event 1. Once I was 1st and Dawn was 2nd. Wish I'd let her take the win now for posterity.
For the real experience, best to visit in January with a force 10 nor' easter and sleet. 😉

Definitely a beautiful place to run, especially with the sun shining. I would have guessed as well that the guy would pull the buggy up backwards, but to carry it up instead 😱 I may well be a parkrun touring in a couple of weeks. It’s been over a year since I tried out a new route. I’ve typed it in youtube and don’t think it’s one you’ve filmed at 🙂

@@tworunningbrooms - I have a couple of days in Devon and the nearest parkrun will be Tamar Trails in Devon. Looks like a nice trail route with an up hill finish.
It looks very scenic indeed, especially in the sunshine! Kudos to the parents tackling the steps with a buggy!

Yes it's breathtaking. Those steps come right near the end too!
Amazing place in the sunshine. I wasn't expecting steps to climb on the course. The good quality trees made up for it though 😂

Lol, you can't beat a good quality tree. 😁 In fact, you got instant information about the Monkey Puzzle trees by using your phone with a QR code on the display boards. 🙂
I loved this film - well done team. one question - do you know why the vollie was running in her high viz at the start?

Thanks Tony. She was pacing 25 minutes and got it spot on.
Thanks for the parkrun videos! My wife & I were pleased to say hello to you both after spotting you at the start of the Dereham 10 a couple of weekends ago; we’d been inspired the week before to visit Mersey Island parkrun after seeing your video. We’d love to visit this one now too, but a but trickier from Norfolk so it will have to stay on the to-do list for a while! Not sure we’ll take our running buggy up those steps though 😱

Thanks Simon. We'd highly recommend a visit to the Yorkshire coast. In fact all coastal parkruns have an aura about them. Hopefully we'll be at Clare Castle this Saturday.
Very tough parkrun, you don’t appreciate the setting because it’s tough…
