As a man hangs from a building Severide ties himself to Cruz and Capp with no other way to support his weight.
Season 4 Episode 7 "Sharp Elbows"
Boden could face criminal assault charges following an incident with his neighbor which leads to Voight helping out. Meanwhile, tensions continue with Captain Patterson which leads to Severide's father obtaining information that could bring Patterson down. Also, Chili and Borelli continue their romance, Otis asks out Brett to the Chicago Fire Department gala and Cruz helps out an old friend.

I read the title as - Severide takes big risk to save big life- 😂
He is breaking a very important rule.. safety first , then save lives.
Always be strong and brave to rescue somebody
Once everyone was out of danger I laughed at everyone just sliding across the roof
Thankfully the person is safe. I was shocking when he can't handle it. You guys did a great job. :) ❤

It'a not that she's strong enough to hold 4 full grown adults. She added friction to the concrete floor. And her method was way better than the 2 guys. She dropped down on her whole body, enlarging the point of contacts for more friction. Unlike those 2 men who only used their asses as the contact points.
it's an epic rescue but how is no one pissed off and threatening to throw severide off the roof after that jackass move?

@@harrypottersnumbrfan And if this was a real life situation, he would have himself, victim and three firefighters fall off the roof and killed. We never, ever secure ourselves to a buddy. Stick a fire axe into that vent, have buddy to hold axe in there. Secure rope on it and throw the bag off the roof. Now I would use Prusik knot, so I can repell all the way to the floor, but it locks if I slip, securing me on the spot. No need for the ladder and extra hands to hold me and all of us go home unharmed. Well, victims go to hospital though...

I’m just wondering if it would have been easier to just hold onto the cable the guy was hanging into, then cut the part behind them to relieve the pressure on the other guys lungs. That way they’re not holding onto any extra weight while on the slippery roof
