@joel4716 I'm not sure you understood my observation. At times it went and times it didn't. So this should not happen. The tables are new after all. But if you can not see passed O'Sullivan. I am disappointed in the table.

Ronnie had all the chances in the world to win that match, but didn't take them. Congratulations to Stuart, he stuck it on Ronnie and deserved his win.

It just felt like whenever there was a moment Bingham messed up and gifted O'Sullivan an opportunity to hurt him, O'Sullivan would suddenly only be able to play easy shots, and any half difficult positional shot or pot would go wrong. Bingham held himself together better, especially in the last session.

I know it's a controversial opinion, but I don't see Ronnie as the GOAT. For me it is still Hendry. If they played each other when each at their very best, it would be hard to pick a winner - probably Ronnie. But taking everything into consideration Hendry is the GOAT. He dominated the 90s, being in all but 2 finals through the whole decade and winning 5 in a row. Ronnie has never dominated, he has played at the Crucible 32 times and won 7. Yes it'as amazing and he is amazing, but he is and always is vulnerable when he is pushed. I have never watched a tournament and thought Ronnie is pretty much guaranteed to win, but when Hendry was in his pomp, I used to be certain and was usually right. I know the opposition is stronger now, but for me Hendry is the GOAT, despite Ronnie being my favourite player.

For my eyes a very good match !

This World Championship is being extremely exciting. The level is just up there. Any player can beat any player.

Think Ronnie missed his chance when he didn't push on at 8 6. although Bingham played really well.

He may well be the greatest of all time but he is not so good that no one else can beat him. Its not important as is no sport, its just sport and the better player won on the day, RONNIE knows this more so than ever and although im sure initially there will be some dissapointment , it'll only be short lived as life goes on as does Snooker

Ronnie should have played safe off that yellow. Or laid a snooker on the last red. He’s always saying other players lack a snooker brain. His own head was gone by that point. If you’re not cueing well you don’t have to go for glory. Ronnie fell into the trap of risky shot making

Ron definitely pushed the boat out trying to ram that yellow in , the angle just wasn’t there to do anything with it . He seemed very agitated all day - noticeably so. Shame - but we’ll of course we’ll played Stuart.

Do those little details really matter though? He had plenty of opportunities handed to him on a silver platter by Bingham throughout the match, but made breaks of 20.

Gutted ronnie lost. I think everytime ronnie has an amazing season like he has this season with 5 titles,he doesn't bring that to the wcs.

I am a snooker fan not a Ronnie fan so this result doesn't upset me but I do feel that this world championship hasn't been great quality wise. The seeds have fallen early, the century count is way down and this same final line up isn't great if we're being honest. That's not a dig by the way just my opinion as a snooker fan who's been watching all my life (30 years old). It just feels like there's been too much talk about the venue and will it won't be here in the coming years which for me has really taken the focus away from the actual snooker regardless if I feel it hasn't been great. The playing conditions as well seem to have hindered the quality this year its one thing having tighter pockets but the actual cloth is pulling up and all sorts which is quite frankly a joke. The players shouldn't have to adjust to poorer conditions. Imagine Wimbledon messing about with the grass or not cutting it for a month before the tournament started. Of course I'll watch the rest of the tournament but I can't deny I am a bit underwhelmed going into the weekend and unfortunately I assume the viewing figures will be down. What has everyone else made of the championships this year?

From the start of the tournament O'Sullivan failed to launch, he was barely playing his B Game, therefore his performance throughout the tournament was poor, he definitely didn't deserve to win it this year.
