Seven Stupid Simple Guard Passes | Jiu-Jitsu Tricks

Спорт

Don't get me wrong, these passes are all legitimate and extremely useful. However, these are some pretty guaranteed to make the person on the receiving end feel pretty dumb for having fallen for them. Sometimes, though, the simplest route is the one often overlooked, and that's why these are so valuable. Plus these are just really fun and cool to hit, whether in training or competition.

If you don't have the fundamentals, don't expect to pass people just with these, because these are based off of the fundamentals. The concepts are what make these moves successful, or at least allow you to transition from one of these to a more traditional pass. I used to get the cartwheel pass once in a while, but everyone's wise to it now, so I save it for people who don't know my game and only use it once. lol

Grandpa and I are thinking of starting our own MMA school. I even have a catchy name Chukkys Den of Carnage. At the end of each session, we're even going to serve little triangle sandwiches. So far Grandpa and I have invented our own Stupid Trick Move. It will be the only move taught at the Den. It goes like this....when you get angry, first take a deep breath and count to 10. Throw a punch at 8. Nobody expects that. OSS!!!

I'm a bit of a one-trick pony with my over-under passing, so I've been trying to mix things up during training. I've been doing a rough version of the first one for a few weeks and have been wondering if there was a video out there of it. Glad to see it's real! Bruh, we did two of those as part of our weekend class on Sunday! The second one, and the second to last one after we drilled some other guard passes. Without question one of the funnest classes ever. This has only heightened my determination to be the guy who exclusively uses "dumb and silly shit" to win. Because who cares about being good if it ain't fun?

Since poorly executed techniques can cause injuries to either partner, could you recommend (or even make, pretty please!) what Not to do in specific beginner techniques and drills? One of my greatest fears is causing undue harm to my partner/opponent due to my incompetence. It will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!
