    Realistically, while rolling his chin would be “tucked” or down. Would you proceed with the triangle anyway?

  • @KnightJiuJitsu
    @KnightJiuJitsu17 сағат бұрын

    Yes. A tucked chin isn’t a legitimate or effective defense for a decent triangle.

    Why roll back rather than mounted armbar?

  • @KnightJiuJitsu
    @KnightJiuJitsu20 сағат бұрын

    Slipping the leg causes lateral instability, so the bottom player has the advantage in winning the top position if he wants and is able to. To prevent him from coming on top, you lock the elbow into the hip like I mention in the video. In doing so, however, you inhibit your ability to enter the uki gatame position (floating mounted pin). For that reason, the shot at the triangle, even though it’s pulling rather than advancing, is the more efficient route.

    I really appreciate this one as I have been using it since 2008 and now closer to my forties, is one of the few things I can do well against those ultra new school younger lions. Thank you very much.

    @@KnightJiuJitsu lmao, wow I wish all my opponents would not defend against moves, and just hold their hands in prayer, while I made several moves to put them in a triangle 🤡🤡

    Again, not understanding how demonstrations work and the difference in step by step technical training vs live training works, show you don’t train. Your opinions are irrelevant at this point. Feel free to prove you actually train and know anything at all about actual fighting.

    What does a bjj person do when someone rams there fingers under the ribcage and just starts pulling? Because I've seen that happen and it was nasty af, all martial arts goes out the window when someone is trying to rip you apart.

    Eli, is it possible to submit someone in a standing arm in guillotine choke without pulling guard? Has it been done before?

  • @KnightJiuJitsu
    @KnightJiuJitsuКүн бұрын

    Absolutely. You can find lots of examples of that happening in mma and submission grappling competition. Theres a viral video that just started going around this weekend of a female comp where that happened in dramatic fashion
