Setting up Sonos Arc for Dolby Atmos (Gaming on PC)

Some of you might be wondering how to set up the PC for gaming with Atmos capable games. I have connected a Sonos Arc (with Era 300 and dual Subs) to the TV and the PC is connected to the TV. You will require 2 important steps to enable Dolby Atmos on the Sonos Arc soundbar.
This will work for the Sonos Beam Gen 2 as well. But do note that the TV needs to support Atmos for this to work properly. And your PC needs to have at least a Nvidia 3000 series card and above. I have tested this on the 3000 series and 4000 series Nvidia cards and they both work.
It's another matter whether the game supports Dolby Atmos properly but at least with this video, you will get your windows PC set up for Atmos.

If you are still having issues with picture and sound, consider changing out your HDMI cables. This is the only cable that I will buy. Nothing else will do for me. Not a paid ad, just sharing with you a really good buy for a solid performance HDMI 2.1 cable.

Your channel has been instrumental in our choice of the Sonos Arc and Sub 3 (for now) upgrade to our home theater set up. I wonder if I could appeal to your expertise and time with a strange issue to which the above seems adjacent. We have a Hisense U8k. To it we have connected the Arc through it's eArc HDMI port. We also have a Sony x800m2 Bluray player. Neither the content streamed via the U8k (Apple TV+, Prime, etc...) nor from the Sony 4k Bluray player are played with Atmos through the Sonos Arc: The app always reads as above, "Stereo PCM". This is after confirming that the TV, the player and the content all report being Atmos compatible. The Hisense sounds options are only "Auto, PSM, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus". But doesn't Digital Plus carry the Atmos signal? Have you or anyone else bumped into this issue? Regardless, thanks for your time and channel. They are helpful and entertaining.
Having difficulties, I don't get the option for dolby atmos for home theater in spatial sound format, just have the windows sonic for headphones option. I'm using a dell xps 15 9520 connected to Samsung G8 oled via USB C to displayport. I'm using a sonos beam gen 2 with sub mini & play 1s.
Any drawbacks on playing pc on a oled cx tv compared to a computer monitor?

im losing my mind ive got a pc wd oled monitor from alienware the 32inch one with supports hdmi/arc each time i start my pc again i have to plug the cable in and out otherwide it wont work and have to enable dolby atmos each time in settings its super annoying to do cant figure out how to just have it set up without having to plug the hdmi cable in and out each time i start my pc

I use an EZCOO box to duplicate my HDMI out from GPU for G9 monitor but then Dolby Atmos audio via the ARC / SONOS

for anyone having trouble setting it up on pc I found out that you can't use atmos with current display ports and must be used with a hdmi connected to pc

And why can't someone just connect a PC GPU directly to the SONOS ARC via HDMI? They do have HDMI 2.1 which supports eARC and ARC.
Atmos is overrated. Period!!!
