Finding this channel is huge for me. I’m 40 years old. I’ve been lifting for 12 years. Mostly powerlifting. But 100% of it was done wrong. I’m a decent size human. That doesn’t matter because I’ve left size on the table simply because I don’t know how to actually lift. Been doing rows wrong for 12 years. Awesome channel….thanks

Now they think I'm on the gear 😂 Gained a solid 8lb muscle tissue in 10 months and I'm actually lower bf and lifting less weight then I previously have in years b4. Mind boggling, mind muscle connection really is the difference in body building 👌

I wonder what would be the difference with a Yates row? With the Yates row, the hips and legs are also locked into position like this one, but with the Yates row the upper body should also be locked at around a 45 degree angle. Sometimes when Yates corrected someone on his row, it was not to rock the upper body/change the angle, position of it. Just curious what would be the difference/effect on back development between the two.

I have a serious question I’m hoping I can get help on. I’ve been working out for years now and lately (for the past few months) when I do back it’s like I don’t feel my back as much as I used to.. not sure why. I think I have something wrong around my mid trap area it’s like I get a pain in there when doing back and really extending and letting my upper back round (on machines for the stretch) anyone else have this problem..? Or should I maybe try to see a sports physical therapist?

You might have restricted ROM somewhere. If I had to take a random guess you lack mobility in your chest or lack thoracic rotation (basically tight in traps and mid bakc). Idk if you have but try foam rolling and opening up your back before working on it. Hope this kinda helps.

I actually love to do deep incline presses with dumbbells where you touch pretty much the side delt

Later the sideways glances mid-sentence possible look of disgust or confusion at WTF someone was doing out of view. Deleting all memory of nonsense and continuing on with the sentence without missing a beat. At least that's what I thought happened. Anyways great info. Love the channel!
