As others have noted, a parallel vent system would be better/cooler than being in series. The second bulb now has very hot air being drawn over it the entire time, rather than having fresh air being drawn into each light individually. The sickly yellow won't help with the "stealth" factor compared to a modern, full-spectrum White LED. HPS is very much out of date with no real benefits, including cost, heat, energy usage, functionality, longevity and all around convenience. No sense in going "High Tech Hydro", if you're going to use Low Tech lighting.

Great video! And a clean setup! And that old hps spectrum / cooltubes, it kinda make me nostalgic lol My serious growing days are behind me but since i experimented a lot indoors, i have quite a few - very - useful tips to add, sorry!!! x) First, hot glue will be more convenient to seal than cement, or worse silicon, because it's super quick too, but it's also easily removable for cleaning!!! ^^ Also a pool / lining under any indoor hydroponic system is, imo, mandatory; my experience tells me that not doing it is taking a lot of risks... lmao The ventilation system can also be used to add some heat / ventilation into an apartment / house, and by doing so, the carbon filter can also act as an air purifier - the carbon filters in the actual air purifiers are a joke I'm still using analog equipment but a lot of people use smart plugs now, they find it more convenient when one is using quite some electrical equipment on a schedule Finally, silencing the ventilation system is a must, imo, except for somebody growing in a barn or smt; silenced ducts work great but the ones made in cellulose tend to slightly leak a bit of fiber over time. Also putting the fan in a box with acoustic foam or just clothes will dampen a LOT of that noise too. There are also rubber / epdm junctions to kill the vibration for somebody living in an apartment - always respect your neighbors!

@@Slavicplayer251where do u live ? Or do we have a total different energy system in Germany. The company is not able to see the peaks or the time when you used the energy. They only see the consumption in a defined period. Month/year. From my point of view u are talking BS. But pls tell me if I am wrong. Hope you get it my English is not the best.

@@Slavicplayer251sick. I never heard about that…probably because it is not possible here. I called them and asked if they can check my monthly consumption because I have a new device and wanted to calculate how much more it will cost in one year…they said we are not able to see anything. Just the data I sent to them every year and every 2nd year is someone checking the thing in the wall (don’t know the word) if I read it correctly. Technically u are right it could be fkn easy to see someone growing in the data. 6/18 for 6-8 weeks and then 12/12…it’s so obvious :D I have a small system only 9-12 kw/h in 24 hour. So glad it’s finally “legal” in Germany. I hope the best for your projects ;) justice is coming soon my friend it’s getting legal all over the world. It’s a fkn shame to treat people like criminals just because of a beautiful plant ;)
