I suggest putting some wood blocks on the the floor in the middle of the tank to prevent it from cracking in the middle

As long as all 4 corners on a tank are supported, there’s no need for center braces! My turtle tank is set up the same way :)

@@ilivefortropicalfish6837 yes the tank will crack from the middle it’s a 90 percent chance of cracking it’s a 20 gallon long which means there’s more space between the corners unlike a smaller tank so there less support to the middle. His tank will crack.

I agree with harder water guppies generally dont mind but i know platys mollys will breed a ton more when the water is hard

Mollies are tropical fish that is why you need a heater if you are in a cold place.

i got a filter like that and it wont work i put it in and it wont bubble at all

I love fish and I like your tanks, your pond (you must live in a palace to fit all those tanks lmao), the way you make the vids and you explain things, with so much joy, confidence, detail, passion and knowledge, in spite of your young age. I even learn English by listening to you LOL and today I've just learned what "KZread chapters" are by looking at your last vid and seeing those strange segments ;). BTW: boy, you speak fast!!! But there is one thing that I'd love you to do that is not strictly about the fish themselves: I'd love to learn how you make the vids from a technical point of view. Like, what cameras you use, how did you learn to edit that well, how much time you devote each week for them. I wish I knew how to do such cool vids like you. My sincere congratulations.

can you breed them in the community tank? cuz i tried putting them in a seperate tank (a much smaller one) but they seemed very lethargic so i quickly put them back in the community tank. i really want them to breed

they might’ve just been getting used to the tank. i’d say give ‘em up to a week in the other tank and if they’re still lethargic like that move them back

Ask them if you can trade for store credit or to make an exchange. Mine was able to take my catfish in exchange for some mollies. You might have better luck asking the small mom and pop fish stores and talk with them about your plans as a small hobby breeder and find out what they want to sell and if you can supply them regularly. It's always good to help small local businesses if you can. 🙂

In the past I tried or asked Petco if I could sell them any fry which were Guppies. They said no they only get their Guppies from their wholesalers. So I would sell to a non-corporate company versus a store that does not have a wholesaler supplier that can accept someone’s fries.

Also for your Molly breeding tank why do you not quarantine them? And you should not plant live plants under artificial gravel. It will die.

No offense but your Guppy breeding tank looks average to me. No live plants just plastic. Life would be so much better than fake. Just having beneficial and nutritional substrate does not make it good for any fish. Live as stated before is better. Not only that but your Guppies look similar, no color diversity, and probably inbred a bit. Also looks to be mostly males and that tank looks overstocked to me to be honest. I forgot they also look dull and a little stressed out. Just saying.
