After watching this video, I wanted to share a trick my awesome husband figured out. We just finished installing drip to our containers and of course I already had them potted up, so we had to run the 1/4" tubing on the outside of the pots this year. In order to keep that tubing in place, he used binder clips (the black ones typically found in an office) to hold the tubing in place. He ran the tubing through the silver part of the clip, then just clipped it to the side of the container- genius!!!💖💖💖 He used the mini size, but they have any size you need for your containers. It has been fabulous!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you are the one to show us all of this, Laura. You inspire me to educate myself and get out there and do these things instead of waiting for my husband to do it! He is very capable, but now I realize that I am too!👩‍🌾💪🌼💛💚💜

Laura, please know that you are the best instructor. I have tried to watch other KZread videos and get instructions and their style is random, wordy, personal chitter chatter and lengthy. You guys have these tutorials on point and edit and speed up just at the right places and you stay in point and explain it just as we need it. Thank you so so much to you and your team!!

I have never felt so cool as I did when I put my pots on drip after watching Laura for years.

Genius! Garden steak and tape! I was wondering how she was going to pull the tubing thru the dirt!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Drip is definitely a game changer… And never feel embarrassed about laying your fittings out on the store floor… Sometimes you just need to lay it out to see what you’ve got.. 💁🏼‍♀️

Holy cow, that "just use a stake" trick to get the tube in is genius 😳👏👌

Hi Laura! You might not see this, but your videos are my happy place. I bought my first apartment in a complex. I only have 2 flower beds. When I moved in it was barren and with you helpful content I have a baby garden! Thank you so much. Much love from South Africa 🇿🇦 Chef Riana

This is so good of a walk-through. I've had everything laid out on the floor in Home Depot pretending I'm trying to hook it all up. No one stares, so it seems it might be common practice. 😂

Good video. Drip irrigation is easy, relatively inexpensive, and efficient. It’s also very forgiving - there are no mistakes that can not be easily remedied. 😅 I just set up a similar system for the 12 planters along our back patio tapping off of a hose spigot with a splitter with a Bluetooth controlled timer, and a similar setup with the backflow preventer, pressure regulator, and filter. Works like a charm. My wife is happy and now my daughter wants a similar setup at her house!

My husband says I can’t have a drip system like Laura until I start making money from my gardening like Laura. 😕😁

I've learned so much from y'all about drip, my husband and I installed it everywhere a few years ago from watching your channel. This year I pulled it all out and put it in a grid pattern like Paul did and the pressure is so much better and you're right we evolve and just keep improving. Whenever I put 1/2 inch black tubing in a walkaway I run it through PVC pipe to protect it from puncturing.

see….THIS is why I watch Garden Answer. You two make everything feel accessible! I am trying a soaker hose on a timer for the first time this year, and i’m already anticipating I will be using it A LOT this year. Before, I hand watered and always had issues like blossom end rot. I’m hoping this consistency helps. Thank you for the inspiration, Laura and Aaron! You guys even inspired me to start my own little youtube channel 🤗🌱 Anyway, have a great day everybody!

I’ve never ran drip before but watching you all has encouraged, educated, and inspired me to try. My husband and I have set up almost all our beds on drip, and now I see all the time (and better success hopefully 🤣) I’m going to have this year without the task of watering. Thank you!

G' morning! 🌞 PERFECT TIMING! I am waiting for my shipments to arrive today and tomorrow with my pressure regulator/filter, backflow preventer and ½in blank supply line. Being on a tight budget I had to order in segments. Last Fall I purchased the connectors, goof plugs, emitters , ¼ in line and shut off valves. My son gave me a 4 zone timer for Christmas... so I will be bringing ALL THINGS drip irrigation tonight to refresh my memory. Thank you for this additional information! Happy Friday!
