Other people may disagree with this but I say they are the best. Cuz name one faction that in 6-8 years all members top champ reigns 5, rollins 4 and ambrose 1, all members grandslam Champs, two royal rumble winners 2 money in the bank wins and headlined pay-per-views. Not one

They avoided messing the shield up. Yet they messed up every member individually after the break up. Making Roman Reigns less charismatic then a black hole in outer space, Seth Rollins losing his babyface run because they booked him to win to the fiend. And Jon Moxley who they didn’t appreciate and gave him as many world title runs as Jhinder Mahal has.

when I saw the shield Triple Power Bomb the undertaker through a table, I knew these three men were going to be special.

That 6 man tag team match they had with The Wyatt Family was amazing

I want to see more of this.. cool to see becky n Seth talk like this

Yeah you can't just say yes to everything Vince says you have to have the balls to say no I/we won't do this we have to do this way! The shield had them and also had 3 very talented solid main eventers/ future wwe legends

Maybe it's just me but we've seen alot of interviews he's done and talked about the three as the shield and he sounded alot more interactive and real about his views, but he sounds like he's reading from a script

Seth IS right. The crowd is the biggest judge. Folks can blame Vince all they want, but his actions are reactionary, which makes it worse or better. Not to mention that whenever a smark post somewhere that 'this guy is a vince guy', they automatically hate them. Fans just don't want to own up to their responsibilities and/or the cult of culture they cause. AEW's decline is showing, it ain't just vince or wwe that's an issue.

It goes back and forth with reigns, but his heel run with Heyman is the highlight of smackdon. How fans go back and forth between loving or hating him reminds me more of triple h than John ironically 2 of them helped make their factions great and dx and the shield

If Vince's actions are just reactions to what the fans like .. Why did Rusev never get to the top , he was good in the ring , good on the mic , during the "Rusev Day" gimmick he was getting insane reactions , everyone loved him , why didn't they push Rusev as a main event guy ? Also AEW is not declining , we'll see what ratings they'll do now that they have wednesday nights all to themselves

@@-Alpeter Really ? AEW won the ratings war , NXT did put up a solid fight , and won a handful of weeks , but generally AEW was ahead !

I don’t think he meant that as a diss to Roman. But Roman was still relatively new to wrestling at the time so he didn’t really have a long journey leading up to that the same way Seth and Dean did. He never wrestled in the indies

It's crazy to think that if it wasnt for Triple H Romna Reigns would have never been the star he is Kassius or Kassious Ohno woudl have been a big superstar but triple h put Roman there instead that's crazy

For one triple h made the right decision by adding reigns. If it had been a bad move the shield wouldn't of been as popular as they are. Whats crazy is u seem to think they should of gone with ohno instead. Reigns added just as much to the shield as rollins and ambrose 100% the right call.

I got news thats not true at all. They're one of the most over groups in the wwe history. The shield backed up what they said. Name one group who has pulled off what they did in 6-8 yrs all member held top gold reigns 5 rollins 4 and ambrose one all members grandslam Champs, two royal rumble winners 2 money in the bank and countless main event. Not one faction has done it. Just like taker there will never be another shield. Shields matches were great and despite never tagging with each til debut as the shield. The rookie group took on evolution who was a very heel faction that not many could match. These 6 put on an amazing two matches at extreme rules and payback. Then to top it all off 3 yrs apart and they didn't miss any steps showing the chemistry and team work that made them so popular. No disrespect towards this faction but new day is operated doing the same thing over and over again . New day reminds me of dx hardly ever serious and other stuff. The shield while having some qualities like dx and can be hilarious 1hen they do but the shield were known more about kicking people asses
