Set up and clean down - wagner sf23 plus

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Just thought it would be interesting just to show you the difference between piston and a diaphragm pumps on how they start up and clean down . Not only that there's really not a lot of videos out there about the wagner sf23 plus . The more we know about other manufacturers spray machines the more choice we have to choose from as contractors.

Takes a few minutes to clean. Swap paint for water take tip out of gun lower pressure spray paint back into bucket when you see water spray water back into water bucket. Done

Hi Colin, really like you videos and how honest and down to earth they are mate, just wondered do you notice a big difference in the diaphragm pump over the piston pumps regards overspray? people say there is less overspray with the diaphragms, what do you find. Cheers

Hello Vince I've seen no difference in the overspray between the diaphragm pump and a piston pump they also say you can spray with less pressure with a diaphragm pump than the piston which is also untrue . I tell you this its a great machine , I'm going to do a review on it soon .

@@camdecorations9779 Brilliant mate thanks for the reply, we have been trying the HEA tips and find they run with a bit less overspray than the tritec and gracos. We were also looking at the heated hoses but they are 240v only so no good for site.

if your going for a bigger spray unit get a tritech t5 really good solid all rounder. regarding the pum armour, you can use white spirit , but i havent tried it , but i do know people who have. other company's sell the same thing but under different names and maybe a bit cheaper. its totally upto you which way you go as long as you use something.

Interesting exercise Colin. So do you like the Wagner ? Way back when I was an apprentice the company I was in had a few Wagner units. All petrol. Talking early 80,s btw. Big contracts we did, warehouses and factories, schools etc. Did you look at the Wooster dust eater ?

The wooster dust eater I haven't got yet , was waiting for it to come in stock then I totally forgot about it , nice one for reminding me. The wagner is a good machine , I'll do a review on it soon and let you know the pros and cons with it. Then I'll do another video of a comparison to my other 2 spray rigs to see which one I prefer. 👍

Hi Cam could you tell me what your preference is between this and the T5. I do some AAA spraying and I spray out new builds from fresh Plaster. Thank you

The sf23 plus all day dint get me wrong the t5 is a great machine but the 23 plus is just so versatile. The hopper is cheap to buy compared to other brands and it's a direct feed . Also for aaa spraying you can go wrong it has a diaphram pump so there's no fluctuations when your spraying, very easy to clean as in only several minutes using cold water and you can service it yourself. Overall a great spray rig .

They are good I don't think they last as long as high production but it you get it dialed in the amount of oversprsy is amazingly minimal... with 75 ft of hose I usually run at 1350 psi( at the pump)

Work out the square meter for the job then times it buy the square meter you charge . So mistcoats you can charge £2 a square meter . Internal works £13 to 15 a square meter that's without doors , price your doors up accordingly.
