As an HVAC triple OG, I would like to see the competition have real world surroundings like an attic with a low pitch roof and no walk boards. And the lineset whole is wedged in the soffet so you got to get a face full of insulation to run the lines 😂 Or put poison ivy bush or wasp hive near the ac 😂😂😂

I hope they're in tight with a great sheetrock crew, because they're gonna be calling them every month with no pipe insulation. And benders for 3/8"? Get out of my face with that. I'd strongly consider firing a hand over that lol. All these fancy (albeit unnecessary) tools on display, and you can't hook them up with simple pvc cutters? Easy to install a line set in under an hour when heat stroke and stepping through ceilings aren't legitimate concerns. Bring them boys down here to Texas, I'll personally fix 'em up with a proper competition.
Looks good but I can still teach them
Mexican installers would’ve had that lineset bent and installed in 10 min
should be BRAZING
Where my Hispanic at?
Ptrap goes first then then tee
The trade shortage is a lie lol, the real shortage is journeyman, not apprentices.😂
No brazing, that's sad.

I wasn't aware of such a thing like compression fittings as I live in a developing country, not until now. I was waiting for the moment they started to braze to see some skills... I'm feeling like a dinosaur

EXACTLY! With my Hilmor Bender and my B-tank, I’ll become the next champion. I guess I’ll have to practice using that garbage bender and zoomlocks tools.

I’m SURE we do this EVERYDAY, using the garbage RLS / Zoomlock is a kids tool but it hasn’t been proven, too many steps that can go wrong with years to come. Brazing still is the best, efficient and safe way in HVACR applications. What Masters are you talking about? I got my Universal EPA 20 years ago, it took me 10 minutes of reading, that license is so SIMPLE to get is ridiculous. It took me almost 10 years to get my NATE Heating & Air Conditioning Lead Installer License, I have it now for 9 years now. 🤙🏼

@@JohnHVACR 10 years for Nate but took you 10 minutes for epa yea that don’t sound right bub
Lol no one uses benders on the liquid line
cap you dont got the best cause my dad isnt there :p
These guys are so slow its painful. How these guys don't go way over on man hours is above me
I'm so damaged by modern society. I thought it was one of those... 7:75
I would win this shit easy
What a joke. All they did was run lineset didn’t even insulate the suction line and did a drain. Not to mention pressed everything and some guys work still came out like dog shit.
No way u guys are this bored😂
I bet you none of these mfs measure shiiit when doing an installation off camera
everything they use has a battery! they aint doing nothing the hard!! how are they the BEST lmao what a joke
Couldn't watch 10min all I hear is buy a power bender, stupid expensive crimp fittings. Real world competition is who can do it with spending the least amount money. Quickly without complaining.
Well where is the diversity!? Especially for anyone who says they built the country
Is this a friggin joke????! 😂😂😂 this is bad as the trojan games
Americans will turn anything into a sport. Lol
A complete and utter waste of resources. This needs to be stopped.

How is this different to any sport, let's say motorsport racing, or any other?

I agree. HVAC should be banned. You want to stay cool. Build it yourself
These guys suck
Espinosa blowing off some Freon out his gauges?? lol No insultubing on suction line? Cool competition though.
