The 10 Commandments (in particular the first four commandments) are more than just a list of do’s and don’ts, they are the principles that God seeks to instil in the minds of His people so that they reflect His likeness and image. Worship goes much deeper than our outward actions, worship goes to the core of our very existence and to what makes us who we are and who we ought to be. When G-d gave the Tora to the Jewish people on mount Sinai , he offered to all of the 70 nation's (the entire world. G-d created 70 nations against the 70 souls that went down to MittsRayim (Egypt) with Jacob. In the Tora, it only mentions 2 nations (AiSav (The twin brother of Jacob) who is the Father of Edom which is Rome which is the true founders of the Christian church) and YishMaAil (the first son of Abraham born to HanGar (the female servant of Sarah). It says that G-d appeared before Paran (the place of YishMaAil) and the mountain of SahEer (the place of AiSav). When G-d asked each nation to accept the Tora they asked what is in the Tora. He told them the one law that is the foundation of that nation and they could not accept that law so they refused the Tora (one must kepp all of the 613 commandments because of who is giving the Tora and not because it suits someone's life). When G-d asked the Jewish people if they wished to accept the Tora, they answered that they will do and then they will ask about details. And so he gave it to the Jewish people. When the true messiah comes after the war of Gog U'MaGog, those nations that survive the war will all accept and keep the Tora. So the Tora is for the whole world even though only the Jewish people accepted when it was offered. As I previously commented, the new testament changes the words of the Tora and the prophets and takes passages of the Prophets out of context and also changes the tenses of words from the past tense to the future tense, all in order to make the Tora fit the narrative of the new testament. The best example is when it says "behold a maiden is pregnant .." and the new testament replaces the word "maiden" with the word "virgin" in order to support the story of "a virgin (Marry) giving birth". Once you change any word of the Tora or prophets or other scriptures that comes from G-d to support your religion (Christianity) you have no religion because the foundation of your religion is built upon the texts that G-d gave to the Jewish people. So before you can read from and teach from your new testament, you must rely on G-d's given texts word for word in its original word and meaning and not corrupted versions created by men. When the nations (Christians) rose up and killed millions of Jews around the world over the last 2000 years, It was always with the help and permission of the church. We are taught that what was done to the Jewish people by the nations was actually a war against G-d since we are eternally his chosen people (Once G-d makes a covenant it is eternal. Since G-d sees and knows all and is not bound by time and space, he knows the future and final outcome of those with whom he has made a covenant with). So, you have no solid ground to stand on. Learn to read Hebrew and you will see that the text of the Tora and Prophets and other scriptures as quoted in your new testament is not the same as G-d's Tora as he gave it on mount Sinai and to the Prophets. Read the 2 book set called "Let's get biblical" by Rabbi Tovia Singer and is available on Amazon.

Every religion claims the one true god or gods. The only thing that makes yours the one true god is because he says so in the book written about him. Why should I take the word of sheep herders over any one else?

Firstly they were not sheep herders and secondly, you have to prove all things for yourself.
