Wicked World is set after the first movie, but before the second. Also China McClain was Uma in the second and third movies and she played Freddie, the daughter of Dr Facilier. She only shows up in Wicked World.

And Disney looks at this info and goes, 'So? The film trilogy, the wedding animated short, and upcoming 4th film are all what matters to us.' I don't even know why most studios don't consider their TV shows for their films canon. Even the Disney Zombies animated shorts are considered canon unless those will be forgotten if Disney decides to give us a 4th entry of the film.

Fun fact: China Anne McClain (the girl that plays Uma) is the same person that sang the first song (night is young) so that's why she sounded familiar😄

This is a very underrated series for descendants since people only watch the movies. The music is great. The characters & relationships are great too. It’s a fun series to watch After reading the prequel book of Descendants. I do ship Mal x Evie too because they have way more chemistry than their love interest

6:21 tbf, I think even Dove Cameron ships them together. Evie and Mal's dynamic is just immaculate.

You're not alone in shipping Mal and Evie. Many fans consider them a better relationship than the people they ended up with and hard headcannon them together. I think even the two actresses themselves ship it, but I might be off on that one.

I liked the show, but a lot of people find it cheesy. One thing that most people agree on is that the music is good. Olivia Rodrigo was a main character in the first two seasons. Other actors and actresses include Joshua Bassett and Sofia Wylie. Some members of the original HSM movies even make appearances throughout.

You should ABSOLUTELY react to Erin & Aaron. They have amazing songs in each episode (there are only 12-) and absolutely hilarious. If you’ve seen the Hannah Montana series, it’s like those.

For "Evil" each VK had a gem that they had to show off for a ceremony. But Freddy messed with Mal's gem to make her evil.

(And Descendants two basically retconned the entire series away) 10:00 And people who only know what a spindle is through Sleeping Beauty don't actually know what a spindle is. Fun Fact: With very few exceptions, Spinning Wheels don't have spindles, let alone ones that are sharp enough to break skin.
