I would personally like to see some 70s/80s lawsuit era basses, and how they compare to the "name brand" version. everything from how the neck feels, to the sound, tuning stability etc.
Really digging the body design, it's like a Peavey meets Aria meets Ken Smith....And the tone is ORGASMIC!!!
This should be enough of a hint to Peavey to get off their asses and start making the Cirrus again - you know you made a classic when Harley Benton makes a clone of it.

Peavey have made some awesome basses and always stop making them just as people realise how good they are. The T40, Zephyr and Cirrus were all excellent and none are in production. The Zephyr was never even sold in the US.

CRUSHING it as per. Loved the style of that intro! Can't wait to see what HB release next 🔥
The body reminds me of the Peavey Grind/Cirrus while the headstock reminds of the Ibanez BTB

They have another model called the HBZ that is clearly a copy of the Peavey Grind. If I ever needed/wanted a 5th bass, I’d consider the HBZ since I sold my Grind years ago and Peavey quit making them.
Just bought it a few weeks ago. Its a beauty...and so nice to touch. Love it!
This makes me happy to hear, been eyeing that one for a while!
Just got mine today. This is an amazing instrument regardless of price. Beautiful appearance, great sound, best neck ever. The overused word "game changer" is totally appropriate . Thank you Harley Benton!!!

I'm seriously thinking of picking it up myself. This bass has so many amazing features!
Great review man, and I dig the more diverse samples you’ve been laying down lately.
I've had one for about six months and totally agree that it could easily cost double from another manufacturer. I haven't tried it with my big bass rig (Ashdown) but on my Roland Cube, pulling out the knob on the volume on the bass causes the amp to overdrive
I was waiting for this video so long. Thank you Patrick. God bless you.
It looks like a Peavey Cirrus.

I've had mine for around 3 months now, such a great bass to play even in passive mode..just throw on some flatwounds and thank yourself for it.
Awesome job as always, buddy. HB knocks it out of the park again.
Sounds very interesting...and it looks so beautiful!
I have the 5 string and its really excellent. Great playability and great sound. I lowered the action and nut a bit for slap bass, but its ridiculously good for the money. I like the sound of the bass just DI'd into a mix. I think the pickups come from the same factory that makes PRS pickups. Fretwork was perfect when I checked it with a fret rocker. Haven't noticed any tuning problems with my tuners yet. May leave them in if they are working ok, or might upgrade them later. As you say, super playable neck. its a little on the heavy side, but ok with a decent strap.
I love how it looks. I'd prefer less knobs.... But not a deal breaker!.... If I were looking for my next bass... this would be high on my list. THANKS, PATRICK!!... love your channel
Most people think my HB BZ-5000 NT cost me over 1k. They are floored when I tell them it was under $400. Love the sound and its 18v.
I’ve been looking at this for months thinking about whether to buy or not, I think this great review just sealed the deal. Also I used to have a Harley Benton HB-60 semi hollow and I really regret selling it, I would love to see you do a review on that. Cheers Pat, take care and keep rocking 🤘🤘🤘
Love your reviews!!! Awesome Bass!!!!
Thanks for great bass videos man
A beautiful bass , and a good tone for this price to ! Thanks
I recently got a Harley Benton. Absolutely love it. I can't believe how cheap they are!
Oh. Yeah. My BZ 5000 is coming in 3 days. So looking forward. Thanks for this vid dude you rock
This is a great upgrading bass, took my NT-5000 - 5 STRING about a year, to do all mods hipshot ultra lights are a must!! hipshot bridge w/ spacing brought up to 18.5mm from the stock 16mm - chuck the stock preamp and add a Bartolini HR-5.2AP 3 band - add Nostrand Zen Blades with TI Flats - now you have a beast, yeah the mods cost more in upgrades than the cost of the bass. closes that any other bass can get to this bass is a cort Artisan A4-Plus at twice the cost of the H/B NT.
Bought this bass like 2 years ago, it had some issues with frets(the 16th fret was buzzing) but after some fretjob it plays like a premium instrument, seriously worth every penny
I've bought this bass...great thing!
That's a nice looking and sounding bass. \m/ it looks like across between a peavey cirrus and an Ibanez btb.
I have the 5 string version of this, put D'addario strings and this bass just is beauty .... Ooooohhh buuuoyyy 🔥🔥🔥
Groovy stuff man
I feel so damn jealous....I wanted to get this one last year but it wasn't available on Thomann back then so I bought it's "sister", the HBZ 2004, which is also astonishing for the price....but damn, I wanted those humbuckers...
Retro videro, love IT ;) AWSOME bass playing, man!!!!!
Great job!
Just sending mine back. The two wings are from completely different pieces of wood, one beautifully striped the other dull and with a water stain under the varnish. It also has a bonus free hair encased in the varnish on the through neck on the back of the guitar. All of which is a crying shame because it plays beautifully, the neck is gorgeous and it sounds good too.
I have the 6 string version of this and it's the best sounding bass I think I have. Love Harley Benton!

Is that really this model? Active EQ, similar controls,. neck-through? Looking for 6 string HB bases, and the only thing that comes up is a pair of bolt-on models.

Almost perfect exempt of the 35 scale for 5 and 6 string model
I'm a fan of a budget basses (for now :P) and Harley Benton is a must have for anyone, who need cheap, very good sounding bass (guitars too ofc). So, I own two of HB's - Jazz Bass One (kit from HB, yes - I named my first jb :) ) and, from a few days, HB BZ-5000. Already waiting for P-Bass kit and... yes, that rick copy... I want It aswell :). Patrick - thanks for your vids. You are doing great job.
I've got it's 5 string brother. Great bass for the money!
Great price for a neck thru bass, and it actually sounds pretty good
You can get Wilkinson tuners on Ebay for peanuts. I bought a set of 4 black ones for my 30 year old Yamaha RBX200F from an English shop for €35 shipping included. And a black Wilkinson bridge with brass saddles for €23... And yes, the Wilkinson stuff works great! My Yammy plays like a brand new bass now. Amazing value.
If i ever get another 6 string it'll be one of these. They look great.
Great T-Shirt! Classic movie. :)
Awesome bass! Sounds great and versatile. Also, where did you get that shirt?
It's almost a BTB! I approve this. One day Patrick, you WILL review a BTB!! Haha cheers sir!
New Harley Benton fan over this last year. Glenn Fricker, then all I see is dudes loving their gear.
Hey man thank you for your videos you help me choose my bass, please i have a little request, can you make some videos with the harley benton bass pedals please, cheers 👍
Nice Return of the Living Dead shirt. Would like to hear your opinion of the Harley Benton PB50, have my eye on it for my next purchase.
Now do a demo of the BZ 7000. I have a six string ltd bass that I love and I'm' curious about 7 strings. I wanna know if the one they have for under 400 bucks is any good!
I was about to quit playing bass at the beginning. But then I took a look and found it was on 1.25x speed. I’m relieved now.
That was a great riff

In the Philippines, They have a fanned fret version of this bass with a different brand name. Love it tbh.
nice guitar tone
Hey Patrick is it possible to review a schecter stilleto vintage 4 on the channel no one has reviewed one on yt and I've ordered one for Christmas thanks. Lorcan
Hey patrik me again.... i wanted to ask whether the neck gets curved in this bass ?
Your reviews are awesome! Which bass is better in your opinion? The Harley Benton BZ-4000 NT or the Harley Benton Enhanced MJ-5EB? (Of which you also did a review). I'm thinking of getting one of the two. (But from both the version with 4 strings).
Nice shirt! Bass is nice too.
These Harley bentons are incredibly good, not had a bad one yet
The company that builds these ,Saein, was also building Peavey and Ibanez.. So the BTB and Cirrus comparisons seem valid
Thanks for review! What’s the measurement at the nut? I did hear quite a bit of fret buzzing tho :(
Is there any chance you could tell me the dimensions of the pickups? I love the way the bass looks but I would like a hotter pickup in it. I have a set in mind but I don't know if they'll fit and there is no information online that has the dimensions for this guitar. Any information would be a big help.
I can't be the only one who got a Roundabout vibe from that bassline in the intro
I wish the electronics (pickups included) from the BZ were on the HBZ instead. I prefer the slightly shorter bass horn, fretboard, general wood color and layout, and especially the satin finish, but I definitely prefer the controls, 18v boxes and the soapbar pickups over the HBZ.
It's a nice Bass, I like it and would have bought one already if it were available left handed.
In sound and looks and bang for the buck it very much reminds me of the Westone Thunder basses of the 80s - only far better woods but probably slightly less good hardware.
Hmmm Patrick, I thought that you didn't like high gloss finish neck??? But I like your demo, complete and interesting!
I have been on a harley benton kick for the last month or so, I bought 4 of them it would of been 5 had they still sold this one. It seems it has been replaced by some bass with a weird sideways j bass pickup setup 😬. Anyways thanks for the great content 🤘
I have this bass in 7 strings and I love it!

The 5 string fretless, HBZ-2005FL NT, is fun also
Would be cool if you get a chance testing/playing there HBZ-2004 Delux Series too. Still don't know how they compare to each other and I don't have the chance going there in Corona times...
This bass looks oddly like my old peavey grind 6 (well in a lighter color) groovy my guy.
That tshirt though 💣
real hot basses...i have the bz 400 the bz 500 the bz 600 the bz 700 and the fretless 5...i love them....
The Cort B and A series while not as cheap as the HB are also great value for money.

I'm so happy u said that, its a new name for me, what model would u recommend, what's good and bad about the court bass?
I think Cort guitars saw this video and bought the bass line( line of basses). It’s now for about 400 to 500 euros and not built as stunningly anymore. At least that’s what it looks like. I can’t find that model anyway.
would you consider doing fingerstyle demos as well? nothing against pick or slap, it just seems like the best demo for this kind of video because it is most common.
have that bass in 5 strings with a high c, its very nice

I bought a used Aria 5 string neckthrough and converted it to EADGC too, I love it! I wish I had started with a bass like this years ago when I was playing in bands.
Still waiting for them to start selling the 6 string version again. Buying as soon as they do, harley benton has never let me down yet.
Why the sound seems a bit thiner then in "My Bass Collection! [2020 Edition]" video? The bass sounds fuller and deeper there.
I'd love to see this one in comparison to Ibanez SR300 and Marcus Miller M2 and maybe Yamaha TRBX304
So many great basses, so little time
Harley Benton has indeed stepped up their game.
What do you think about Harley Benton Enhanced MP-4EB vs BZ4000? Which one do you prefer and why?
could you plz plz 🙏 do a review on the AMT WH-1B Bass Wah Wah?
is the sound straight from the amp spkr or through an xlr and processed?
Show. Hugs from Rio.
Hey Patrick. Can u tell me pls, is BZ4000nt better than SUB ray4 ?
I'm considering to buy their 7 string version just for the sheer ridiculousness of it all
Are their any tuners that would be easy replacements??
Can you get a hard shell case for that?
So how does this one compare to Harley Benton enhanced series?
Bass schmass. take my upvote for your tshirt alone!
Basically a Peavey cirrus copy, sadly no longer available as I would love to have this bass.
How does the BZ compare with the current model HBZ ?
Curious, is this bass as heavy as the jb75 model? My back wanted me to ask you lol
Is there a 5-string version of it available?
There’s one of these for sale near me for 150 with minor buckle scratches on the back. Debating on picking it up for my first bass.
