Oaken Lab is my favorite base right now. Chris really pulled it all together with his V3 and his scents have an elegance that are unmatched in the community. Serious Moonlight might be the soap of the year. I don't say this lightly having tried almost everything out there since 2010.

Just picked this up from WCS. Unfortunately I’m based in Canada, but really happy with this purchase. Love the scent. I do feel the fragrance could be a little stronger in my opinion, but that’s just me. Now to find a similar fragrance to pair with scent. On point soap!

i have used rockwell & timeless (.68 plate) both the razors but against the grain specially on my upper lips it feels a bit aggressive & dosen't feel smooth. plz suggest some smooth razors for me

In my experience razors have little to do with smoothness. Smoothness is a blade/edge characteristic, try wizamet super iridium or schick blades. regards dapper shaves

can anyone help me.. ive been getting a little bit of razor burn on one side of my face only.. the other side is completely fine.. is there something im doing wrong ?

reduce your pressure on the burn side. I assume you’re using dominant hand? regards dapper shaves

Given the David Bowie nod in the name, I sort of doubt it.

Love watching your shaves. I notice on the West Coast web site, that this contains synthetic menthol. How noticeable is the menthol?

Hi Jerold. There isn’t any menthol in this soap. I think it’s a mistake in the description. The only one that contains menthol is the Plein Air scent. Even then, it’s quite mild in the soap and more pronounced in the aftershave
