    So I love and use Dr. Squatch products. I have the hair products, tooth paste and soap bars. I love all the products. The soap bars can go away quick if you allow them to get splashed and wet. If you store them either between the curtain or outside the shower/tub then the bar will actually last a lot longer. I can make one bar last 3-4 weeks and have used most of their bars. The quality in the product is good and I do not have any complaints other than the pine tar bar. That one did not like my skin as it would scratch it more than clean it due to the sand in the bar. My favorite is the Goats Milk one. I say you can get your money's worth out of this product. Give them a try at least. But store the bars outside of the shower please!

    As a professional soapmaker of HANDMADE bath and body products, I can tell you that I’ve had many of my own customers tell me the same things said in this video. For HANDMADE soap, you must let the soap cure for 4-6 weeks which allows the bar to become mild and to harden which will make the bar last longer. There are industry standards with regard to scent and the proper useage rates in soap, bath and body products. Each scent or essential oil has a different useage rate and we, as the makers need to adhere to this for several reasons. Not only so the scent lasts in the finished product but more importantly, so we keep our customers safe from potential skin irritants.

    Want your bars to last longer!?!! Make a single bar last at least a month... Use fishing line or dental floss to cut each bar of soap into 4 pieces. By only using a small piece at a time the bar has less opportunity to be melted by staying in contact with moisture. I can understand the criticisms for the most part, but it's like to point out one little fact. All natural soaps are not going to be long-lasting because of their inherent ingredients. Soaps that are made to last longer usually have a lot of added ingredients and chemicals that aren't good for your skin. If you're looking for a long-lasting soap that's not going to melt down too fast, you're going to have to buy the types of soap that include a lot of artificial ingredients. That's the rub, no pun intended, with natural healthy for your skin soap.

  • @BeastMadeReviews

    @BeastMadeReviews

    Of course you realize that I couldn't do a 30 minute long video reviewing all their soaps, right? The point isn't to discuss every product, but to give an overview of their soaps in general. I chose their best-sellers, which should give the best representation of what the brand offers. I think a brand like this that spends a LOT of money on advertising for commericials on the Superbowl and their branding should know how to present their product. It's not the most important aspect of a soap, of course, but it's a good point. They have a very polished image and brand, but very messy-looking product. I know other brands who make all-natural soaps that do a far better job with their presentation.

  • @ryanlevinger4024
    @ryanlevinger40242 жыл бұрын

    "1 to 2 weeks at most"... how much soap were you using??? Mine lasts up to 4 weeks, and that's showering almost daily. You don't need a ton, just lather a bit and wash. The soap saver does help extend the life of the bar. Their talk about being a man can be a little bit much sometimes, but they're also actually trying to reach and educate men about hygiene and hygiene products. First instance, a lot of men really do use shampoo for everything, they also discuss on the site how you shouldn't be shampooing your hair everyday (and it's why they have bigger bottles of conditioner than shampoo). Their website actually has information about the potential harms of commercial product ingredients and the benefits of natural product ingredients (in general, not even just theirs). So you have to give them that. Yes, their products are a little pricey but they actually last a good while (soap, shampoo, toothpaste).

    Price is about value, not dollar amount. Saying something is “overpriced” is saying that their product doesn’t produce enough value at their price. I think a $40 soap is very expensive, but the value that it has is enough to justify the cost. Unlike Squatch which smells cheap, feels lie garbage, and doesn’t last.

They also have a 💯 satisfaction guarantee so you really can't go wrong.

    I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience with Squatch soaps. Many people in the comments section have also agreed that their soaps didn't last. Some people have better luck. It seems that their quality control is spotty at best, and subpar at worst. As for the price, I addressed this in the video. I got their best sellers in a bundle with a "free" soap saver--their words not mine. The total cost was $30. Either the soaps were $10 each, or they lied about the soap saver being free. If you like the soap, more power to ya.

    I have tried several dr squatch soaps. This is my personal opinion. While I did like a few of them, they are too expensive for what they are and honestly not worth the price. I have since then went back to soap like lever 2000 and sometimes I use ivory soap. I also like to use the white dove soap as well. The dr squatch ads like to try and say that the ingredients in normal soap are more harmful to the skin which is a bunch of bull crap. While the ingredients in the squatch soap might be easier on the skin, that doesn’t justify the higher price. For the price of one squatch bar, you can get 6 or more soaps for that price and that is more sensible to me because you still get clean with normal soap.

    Don't fall for the exfoliation hype. It doesn't really require a rough scrub to remove dead skin cells and dirt. Water alone can actually do that. I'm sure the soap, as overpriced as it is, probably did exfoliate. Just didn't feel like it because usually things marketed towards exfoliation give a rougher experience than is necessary.

    I got one of their bundle packs that was some of their best-sellers. I wanted to try a few of the soaps that Dr. Squatch recommended.

    I got the Star Wars bundle and enjoyed them a lot... I found they didn't last super long 2-3 weeks for me.

    It’s a rip off. You can find actual natural soap for half the price. Also, the aloe bar they slang doesn’t even have aloe in it! 🤣🤣
