Oh my god, the single snapshot of James Acaster angrily holding a hula hoop in a train station, I wish they had kept that in the show

I think Greg needed therapy after having Rhod on the show

The fact they’ve known each other for years and have been consistently trying to one-up-the-other for years, it was a delight to see the expanded version of Rhod sneaking into Greg’s’ closet and the banter afterward.

Totally! Greg tries to hide it but I think Rhod crossed a line and really shook Greg, he violated Greg's trust. Look at Greg's eyes during that interaction, his eyes are a bit watery and anytime he does laugh or smile it doesn't extend to the crinkles around his eyes.

Man, the longer James kept Hula hooping, the funnier the end result became.

I could genuinely see James opening his shows by just hula hooping for as long as possible with absolutely no lead up. That's just his style.

My heart broke for James with the hula task. Wang didn't even try to improve. James was very dedicated. I think he deserves a special award of some sort. I understand that tasks are rigid, but I was very impressed.

Season 7 has the best outtakes, I could watch James and Rhod shout at each other for hours! And Jess's interjection of 'you can't just nearly kill Alex every week' is pure gold!

I'm shocked there's outtakes I haven't seen before as so many of them have been posted on other channels. James' hula hooping was way more impressive than I originally thought. I do also love how Phil looks like a kid in primary school assembly, sat on the floor mindlessly clapping while watching James do his thing😂

Jess: *Locks herself in her apartment * *Looks under kitchen table for hidden clue *

James accurately predicting "this wont make it in" and Greg assuring him "oh it will!"

watching scenes of james shouting at rhod back now is so funny because they did a podcast together where james just straight up said he didn‘t like rhod at all during taskmaster lmfao

there's also the bit about rhod getting genuienly mad that Jess Knappet legit broke the ceramic statue Greg had gifted to rhod's wife which he stole and used in the prize task. You can see in the episode where she lifts it up and Rhod is like 'No' as she drops/throws it and he rockets to his feet.

I love that Greg made James hula for nearly 2 and a half whole minutes, the entire time with zero intention of considering it for the points

Hula-gate is right up there with Joe's Potato-gate. For a silly show, it really brings out hard feelings.

My theory is that James’ first attempt was hampered by that microphone pack thingy. Genuinely the best season overall ❤

He said in a interview that they film multiple episodes in a day, and by that point he was just exhausted and nervous, he then just messed up

This outtake episode has made me appreciate the fact that it’s not like other shows that are totally scripted. You can tell that Greg definitely had no idea about Rhod’s video because at around 1.43 just before they show the video Greg asks Alex really quietly under his breath if he’s seen it. Probably worried what was on there lol but at least proves that Greg had no idea about it.

It's so much more devistating after seeing how long they let James hula hoop before he lost.

I don't know if it's just me, but somehow Rhod is so much more likeable in these outtakes than he comes across in the series - I would have never guessed TM does villain edits but I'm beginning to feel like Rhod got one 😅

I'm so glad we're getting outtakes for this season. I knew James had gotten much better at hula-hooping, but I really hadn't realized how much until seeing this!

I simply can't describe how Taskmaster has brightened my world! With all that's been going on I feel I've just been slogging through day by day. TM has made me laugh harder and longer than anything I can remember. I hope they NEVER stop producing this show. Solid gold.

Rhod is one of the best to ever do Taskmaster! He's so wonderfully, wildly mad and his own man, I bloody love him!!

Season 7 was and will remain my all time favourite series of TM. Love James to the moon and back! ♥

I still don’t understand how the extended version of the satsuma argument and the shortened version fit together. There’s lines in the episode that aren’t here, and things are in different order. Seriously, watch them both and then try to write out in exactly what order things were actually said. Editors must’ve chopped it up so much to get all the best bits condensed down, lol.

I'm not saying this was the best season of Taskmaster and nothing will ever match its heights again.... But I have yet to be proved wrong.

“I’m really good at this now! I just got nervous!” James there speaking for all men in their 30s.

I always thought James was right: Greg did favor Rhod Gilbert more often than the other contestants. I disagreed with a few of Rhod's wins in that season.

Series 7 was such a golden series!

@@Ali-mv3jc IDK about the Rhod one but the full Sausage or Finger game exists on the UKTV Play channel. It might be region locked, though I'd highly recommend it since it was pretty poorly edited on the show (it isn't explained they prod different body parts each time, and it makes it seem like James didn't have to get prodded at all until the final)

Absolutely one of my favourite seasons. Need to have one with James, Rhod, Noel, Nish, Mae...dang, nevermind, I'm thinking of FAR too many of the contestants that I really enjoyed....eff it, they were all great! Great show! WATCH 'EM ALL PEOPLE! 🤘🏽
