Tell us about the guy you knew who thought he could fight a bullet www.veterantv.com

His name is Crosby. Funny story.. so, this kid I used to hang out with used to brag about how he was "immune to marijuana" right.. well, I decided to invite him over to a friends house to puff one day after school. Turns out, he just wasn't inhaling. So, after we fixed his issue with the matter, he got obliterated 🤣 So, we were sharing a cig and asked him "have you ever seen Star Wars 3D?" To which he replied, "no".. well, "Star Wars 3D is when you flick a lit cig at someones chest and it shoots embers everywhere and looks like an explosion. Anyway, when it came time to do it, my other friend Ross leaned in hella close, like maybe just under an arms length away from his face and flicked it at him.. swear to God time slowed down and the kid freaking Matrix moved and dodges it with a right to left moment. After that day, he swore he could dodge a bullet 🤣 He ended up joining the Army a few years later and we lost contact. Hope he's doing alright. Well, that's my civilian story about a guy I knew that thought they could dodge a bullet.
Saw that ending coming from a mile away when the pistol wasn't cleared before operating. As my NCOes always taught me -- never do two stupid things at the same time.

@VetTV not even kidding i got a scar on my arm and it went down kinda similar, it was a 22lr revolver , bullet was right under the skin on the other side of the hand , used a razor blade, a pair of pliers vodka and fisching line on me while wo dudes held me down We were in a basement shooting stuff like old china and beer cans, i told em to be carerfull and first thing my friend does is say its not loaded, gives it to the next 15yo kid from our bunch of kids that lined up to shoot stuff in a formal squatter house basement our parents disapproved of us going even near anyways he almost did a alec baldwin on me by asking me how to unload it - his being a cheap very old german made 22 revolver without disconnector when you open the loading gate he pulled the trigger in double action to get the revolver spinning to the next position to eject it - my friend gave him a revolver with one round left and called it empty pretty great show the way you portrayed it its absolutely accurate and as dumb as it sounds not even that far fetched other than military personell not checking breech i didnt even feel it at first either other than me cursing that lil bitch for making me deaf with no earpro in a inclosed basement i had no reaction to it so my friend drops on the floor and talks abaut how im hit pretty much at the same time shock stopped and blood started flowing so i got a scarf and belt around my arm, we drove our bicycles and mopeds to another kids house, older brother was national guard medic in training - as bad as it sounds he did a good job send the other kids scrambling for needkle nose pliers ,hard liquer, razor blades like in a carpet knife or stove skraper/kitchen scraper, also citric acid concentrate, gelatine, hydrogen peroxide and a ibuprofine as well as a big syringe and monofile fisching line, superglue Gave me a teakup of vodka to drink togehter with 400mg Ibuprofen, let me sit for like 10 minutes, cut off a piece of skin, removed the bullet that formed a bulge right under the skin with disinfected pliers from a kids baitfisch fisching kit,got the syringe filled with a mix of whater, vodka and hydrogen peroxide, pushed that through the wound channel to flush out powder residue and trace ammounts of lead, disinfected the fisching line with a bottle of jack used a catch and release fisching hook without barb for stitching it up for it was sharper and smaller diameter than the sowing needles another kid brought , , he put a bit of gelatine powder mixed with citric acid in the front of the wound channel to stop bleeding, then stitched it shut and put superglue over the stitching to assure it all was closed up the side he cut you dont even see a scar , the entry tho was pretty shredded and now is like half an inch sized round scar well thank god those pliers didnt give me tetanus and this 22 round didnt tear any ligaments and missed both bones and the main vene and artery my parents never knew and still dont know, like months later my mom asked me abaut the scar and i said i crashed into a fence post and ripped my arm open... that dudes older brother is a real general surgeon now ...

didn't clear the pistol should of pulled slid back to eject the chambered ammo
So my company XO was fucking hated. He was a ball busting 1st lieutenant no one respected. Until he was busting an E-3’s balls who was literally twice his size. The E-3 told him you wouldn’t be such a hard ass without your rank. XO took off his blouse folded it neatly and set on the sand. E-3 cocked back to punch him and the XO KO’ed the E-3 with a kick to the chin. Neither got in trouble over it.
