NOPE!!!!!! No other solution at all they way he showed you is the ONLY way your playlist is going to show in Serato Dj Pro...... I've done all the steps he did at first , even talked to a rep at serato and nobody had a clue on how to Fix this problem so this Method which ai CRAZY to me as well!!! SMFH

It didnt work for me! I managed to get my itunes to pop up on the side bar with the playlist titles but the music wont populate. It just shows my playlist titles but it won't show the songs within the playlists

My Apple Music Playlists titles show up, but the music under the lists does not populate.Any fixes?

Your playlists contain "streamed" music or "downloaded" music???

Yes. It's all streamed or downloaded from Apple Music.

Everything in my Itunes library are showing up in Serato except "Recently Added & Recently Played" music. How do I get these crates to show in Serato?

That’s a tough one to answer. Is there a way to put the recently added/played into a folder that you create to find them there?

It still won’t work on mine, I’ve done everything exactly like you said. It is showing iTunes on the side tabs but it’s only showing mixtape songs in my iTunes library on serato, but not the music I’ve paid for ?? Any suggestions

That’s strange. So you actually see iTunes in your Serato but the music you bought through iTunes is not showing up? Check to see that your iTunes music is actually located on your local drive where Serato is located and not in the cloud. Hope this helps.

What version of iTunes and Serato are you using? Be sure to update to the latest version.

Thats the only way i get my itunes to load into Serato as well. But not sure if it makes Serato less stable running 2 programs. Been having a few glitches and lags !

What type of glitches are you having. I run Serato, iTunes, and the internet (KZread) at the same time and I don’t have issues. Every once and awhile, my sound waves may disappear, like it’s trying to process but the music never stopped. Also, if I move my computer, no matter how careful I am, it appears the external hard drive would disconnect, then I have to close Serato and reopen it from a backup. Happened twice during an event. However, I don’t think that is from running multiple programs at once. Let me know your issues.

Also, after opening iTunes then opening Serato. You can close iTunes and Serato will still read it.

How do you stream through Apple Music?

I don’t stream through Apple Music but any music that I buy and have bought over the years are on there plus I upload any music I get to Apple Music. So I need it to work in Serato being that’s where all my music is at.

I did , I opened first Apple Music and after serato but it doesn’t work

It worked first time out, second time no luck 😢

If both your iTunes (Apple Music App) and your Serato are up-to-date, and you start iTunes before you start Serato and it still don’t work, that is a mystery for me. Try the above then go into serato and uncheck then check the iTunes option. Hope that works. If you find a solution, share the knowledge for others having issues.

Just so I understand you are not using Serato and you are having this issue in Sonoma? I’m not familiar with Sonoma, however check to ensure that the songs in your iTunes playlist are songs that you actually own, either bought on iTunes or imported into iTunes. If you made an iTunes playlist with songs from their streaming service, those songs will not show up in Serato and probably the same for Sonoma. Hope that this helped. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi having the same issue in Sonoma! The folders show in Serato but does not show the mp3 to play. I have downloaded one song as Apple Music and it plays in iTunes but it is no where to be seen in Serato. My music that I own will play from iTunes cloud but if I want to play them in Serato, then I have to download them.

This is frustrating. I don’t know much about Sonoma. The only advice I have is to make sure you are actually purchasing the music from iTunes (Apple Music) and not downloading them as a stream.
