  mine still doesn't work. I run Serato DJ pro 3.1.3 and my I tunes music doesn't show up. running Monterey too. I tunes show up but only music I've bought in I tunes after doing the update to 3.1.3 and Monterey.

  Is your music library synced, meaning your music is across all of your devices? Un sync it and then reload your music so it’s not in the cloud but on a hard drive and see if that works.

  It didnt work for me! I managed to get my itunes to pop up on the side bar with the playlist titles but the music wont populate. It just shows my playlist titles but it won't show the songs within the playlists

  The uplights (Both IR4) came with a remote control. The only downside is that the main light (Master) has to be close to operarte the lights with the remote. The Gigbar also came with a remote. The good thing is the remote for the gigbar works from anywhere in the room.

  Yes, that is true. What I do is keep the master right near the dj booth. From there it should change all the lights when you use remote, even in a room that size. The master needs to be close to dj booth, just like your gig bar

  That sucks with the water, my dude. This is why I always have a backup PC with us. Also a tablet with MP3s on it. Djay is a good one to have on a tablet. I use it on my Samsung S6 for weddings. We have talked about stuff like this on The DJ Round Table Show.

I've had two deejays I know that had their car broken into and their equipment stolen because they left their equipment unintended.

  You are right, it could have been a setup. However I felt comfortable because there were plenty people around, so a robbery in that situation would be crazy. However I never leave equipment unattended. Only going back/forth to the car loading and unloading which takes minutes. Also, if the area/party appears to be dangerous, I will just leave and give the client their money back.

  In the 90’s we had to get bouncers to watch the car when loading after gigs. Mostly for record thief’s. But a lot of wild scams involving homeless as well. But bro you’re a grown ass man why did you play this game with them?!?!?!

  Yeah, when working at clubs/bars there is always security/bouncers. However at private events, nobody pays for security. This business is like any other business. You got to play those games to keep customers happy and to secure future bookings.

  Every party is different. Some jeans are acceptable while others require you to wear a suit. You got to know your clients and the party and charge accordingly.

  I have 4 backups when i dj, I have my main, my prime go, iPad with djsy pro ai, and last resort I have my phone, also have a set of battery power speakers as backup in case of power failure. you need an SSD drive for that laptop. or a new laptop that is why i change to Denon prime equipment, laptops are to sensitive

  Thats great. I also have several forms of backup with include 2 computers, 2 cell phones with music, blutooth connection to a tablet. However that issue lasted probably 30 seconds. Not enough time to even switch over to a backup.

  Your controllwr was givibg me swcknd hand anxiety. Do you carry a backup controller? If not check out the Numark DJ 2 Go . Its a small portable mixer that will do in a pinch.

  Yes, I had anxiety for the following few parties, however the issue never happened again. I do have several forms of backup but I only bring one controller.

  I have watched a few videos of you now and for the most part you have a good video vlog going on. One suggestion, tidy up your cable management on your speakers. You just have them dangling. Use a zip tie to keep it streamlined to the pole. Thanks for sharing.

  Nice work. If you run an external SSD HD it would help with serato load time. SSD's are faster than conventional harddrives.

  That’s pioneer for you it’s always glitches my homeboy Rev 7 be acting crazy at gigs sometimes I’ve never had that problem so far with my rain one but things happen sometimes this is why you have to make sure your laptop is top notch that’s the main connection to everything!

  I agree with having a solid computer. I’m a Pioneer DJ fan but lately they have been letting me down. I might go with Rane going forward.

  After purchasing the REV7, I also got the S7. Obviously the REV7 has a better up fader. Doesn't wobble. As you say, it's not worth the price. I think so. I feel like I was cheated because the up fader is not the same as the S11. I'm buying it for scratching. I also have Reloop ELITE and think it's great.

  If you are a scratch DJ, get rid of pioneer. Rane will last longer. We pay too much money not to be able to use the faders (up faders) as we please.

  @@EnormeSounds S7 and REV7 in my room. It's for practice. In the basement there is a Reloop ELITE for high volume. The S7 has a loud fader operation sound that discourages me. The later REV7 seems to have been improved and is quieter. I have a rane twelve, but the sound quality of scratches is inferior to phaseDj, so I'm skeptical about mixers. To master Scratch, you need a certain amount of money. I've been doing this for almost 40 years, although there were long breaks (lol)

  That was the rev7. The first issue was the lines/b/throu did not work, I reset and thought I was good to go and suddenly I thought I saw something that said the rev7 disconnected. It was so fast I really couldn’t see what happened. The usb cable from the controller to the computer was secure and was not moved when it happened. Just one of those freak accidents I guess.   I think it’s a great controller. I’ve used it for about 40 events and also in the home and never had this issue. I’ve used it for several events after and it worked perfectly. Can’t figure out what happened.

  Hey couple quick tips. Bring an iPad back up with Djay installed with songs on it with Tidal on it so you have access to their music. 2. Put scrims on your poles so your lights look nice under it. 3. Bring back up pants 👖 😁👌🏾

  Thanks for the tips. As far as backups, the plan is if Serato goes out or my external drive crashes, have premade mixes on my computer. If the computer goes out I will Bluetooth music from my phone through the controller. If the controller goes out, I will connect my phone directly to my speakers, premade mix on my phone. I will check that DJay app and scrims. However, I got to take my chance with pants, lol. I’m just glad it wasn’t a suit pants that I wear during weddings or formal events. Thanks for stopping by.

  @@EnormeSounds yea djay is a nice back up. It’s actually much faster to load than Serato. You won’t have the waveforms on the controller but it works fine on the iPad. Much faster than having a pre-mix. I’d play a pre- mix if my iPad failed.

  @@EnormeSounds Man, that's scary! I now have the Rane One, and every now and then the tempo fader will not react to Serato for some reason. I move it up and down several times and then it finally kicks in on serato. Technology man, sometimes you love it, sometimes you hate it lol. Keep up the great work!

  The issue with the connection (Deck stuck on thru, and song stopping.) I would swap the USB cable, it's the cheapest fix to try, and the most likely culprit.
