I like it. Small little bonsai forest. Looks good. After wiring let it grow and develop. Will be a beautiful bonsai. Lots of potential.

Yes they are! I'm learning they're a very hardy tree, just hope to make decisions at the correct time going forward. Thank you!

How long have these been growing from the image you shared in part 2? I just got the same pair of seedlings and am curious about how they grow

How often do you need to adjust the wires?

Hi Lesa! So from what little I know these will need to be removed before they start to "bite in" & leave marks. So timing to me would really depend on growth rate & vigor, not so much an actual time frame. Just like cattle...lots of observation required!

I ask because I’m growing mine from seed. I planted a lot of seed but so far only 3 have come up. I’m not sure what to expect from my little seedlings and how to avoid killing them lol Kim🇨🇦

Very cool. I don't have any experience growing them from seedlings but Redwoods are very hardy & grow a really vigorous root system. Everything's all about doing things at the appropriate time. Hope they do well for you!
