FYI - 05:42 Joshua is an American (LA, Cali) member of the KPop group Seventeen. 31:31 Those religious guys who approach you on the street and ask you to come visit their "Church" are usually Cult members. Don't go! They'll either take you to a nearby "church" or worse, take you on a bus to a remote place where you'll be "persuaded" to donate money, or you're on your own to find your way back. Generally, if anyone approaches you in SK, they're looking for something from you, because that's not the norm to strike up a conversation with a stranger. Hope this helps keep you out of uncomfortable to dangerous situations.

Seoul is my favorite cities in the world, I lived in USA, JAPAN and canada, now I live in Seoul.

I was in Seoul in APR. Nice sized Asian mega city with charm and premium feel to it. Enjoy!

Hongdae is for 18-25 year olds, Gangnam Station is for 25-35 year olds, Apgujeong-dong is for sophisticated entertainment, and Itaewon is a place worth visiting. Global entertainment for 25-40 year olds. During the day, we recommend visiting the Han River, Cheonggyecheon, Gyeongnidan-gil, Bukchon, a large shopping mall, visiting historic sites, and a palace tour. For reference, in Seoul, accommodation costs between $80 and $130 per night are good value for money. Food and transportation costs in Korea are not expensive, but lodging is a bit expensive, so I advise you to have a fruitful trip. I hope you have a pleasant trip to Korea.

i totally know what u mean... i immigrated to canada in 1973 n lived here all my life but when i go to korea, i feel like i can do anything,,, its the energy.. respect n safety. i always thought it was just me but when caucasians mention the same feeling, i know the energy is there!

I hope you guys stay one night in Gyeongju(KTX), one night in Busan(KTX), two nights in Jeju(start from Busan and rent a car in Jeju), and two nights in Seoul. Double staying dates if you have enough time. Enjoy and thank you for visiting Korea.

Aww yay another Korea vlog!!! I remember seeing your other videos to prepare for my trip. I went last month by myself and because of my anxiety, it was hard to not be lazy and force myself to get out and experience a lot. I did have 2 friends I met through a K-Pop fan facebook group that were there but I was there for 2 weeks and they left when I had about 8 days left. And another day a few days before I left Korea I met up in Daegu with a Korean friend and his Russian wife and their baby! I know them because the husband was my Korean tutor I met in January of last year through Amazing Talker and I ended up becoming friends with both him and his wife. So yea. I met up with them one day. I think the next time I go back I want to experience more than I have before.

@@zanetravel Yeah it's a traditional and casual game Korean students used to play with classmates in break times!! It's so fun to watch you enjoying Seoul from a tourist's perspective because we take every Korean stuff for granted!! (Cool arcades, bars, subways and everything lol) Seems like you're no longer here if you saw cherry blossoms but I do hope you enjoyed every minute in Korea. ;) Thanks for the great video!

If you're in Hongdae a while and like anime you should go to AK Plaza - specifically the top floor. There are a few anime cafes and stores in there. I would also recommend Mangwon market which is a few stops away!

I'm so jelous! I lived in Seoul for 11 years of my and loved so many things about it. The first place I would go is Anguk station, and explore all the area, both north and south of that station....especially Insadong has wonderful art galleries and coffee shops. But the section of town to the north, between the palaces, has the most atmosphere in my opinion. Of course I would want to go to Itaewon and see what has changed since I was there more than 5 years ago. Make sure you go to Garosu-gil also...a great street to walk around.

I have planned to go to Seoul in October, I am looking forward to my trip! would be my first time there.❤
