Inside Korea's Most Impressive District 🇰🇷 JAMSIL (Seoul, South Korea)

Ойын-сауық

TODAY I explore, what I consider to be, one of the most impressive districts in the world! Jamsil is home to the famous Lotte World, Tower and District. This area gives you the feeling of being in "Korean Disney World" and I recommend you come here when you're in Seoul, South Korea 🇰🇷

Welcome to my neighborhood! My house appeared quite alot in this video! I might've been scratching my butt in my underwear behind the window...haha. That lake is lined with Cherry Blossoms, so when it blooms it is absolutely amazing and it snows Cherry Blossom petals. I've lived in Jamsil for over 18 years and I have yet gone to that place by the lake for beer and chicken, and that area with the Pokemon is where I usually walk my dog! You get around more than I do!

@darkangel8068 I prefer Korea too, but there are cultural differences when it comes personal interactions. Just because the Japanese give you space and don't go out of their way to talk to you doesn't mean they are being rude or not welcoming. If you ask, they will help you.

@@iu2The Japanese as a rule conceal themselves to strangers behind their over-politeness. Koreans open up even to strangers if they see no reason not to. I think in that sense Koreans are similar to Americans.

That coffee robot is cool, but it’s a pity that there are no English operating instructions. You have helped them find what they need to improve! That tall building is cool too, but it looks the same as tall buildings in other countries! The fried chicken at the end is the perfect ending. Korean fried chicken is indeed famous in Asia! This video you shot in Seoul is so beautiful and attractive! You did a really great job, thanks a lot for sharing! 👍🤩👏

1:20 #2 metro line is indeed confusing because it mostly runs on a circular path in the center of Seoul. So, if anyone is confused as to which direction to take, just note the next stop in KaKao Map, and then locate that stop on the sign above the doors on the platform. Better yet, download a photo of the metro map so that you can visually locate the train stations to determine which direction you need to go. That's for any city, not just Seoul. Anyways, we're glad Zane finally made it to Jamsil.

Make sure to respect our culture when you are here. Lot of racist foreigners these days totally disrespecting our traditions, cultures and Korean way of life. Then they twisted and claim we're racist just because we don't adhere to all of Western Woke ideology. DEI doesn't apply here. South Korea & most other countries on the planet is not like America or a few other Western nations whose identity is based on "ethnic diversity." We want to preserver our heritage and culture that is uniquely ours. Thank you.

Korean soul food 1. Grilled Pork belly with grilled Kimchi some restaurants use sottukkeong(Korean traditional pot's cover) to grill Pork belly and Kimchi with pork's fat. My faborite combination is the piece of 삼겹살(pork belly) with grilled kimchi. These combination has synergy with each other. when you search, copy and paste 솥뚜껑 삼겹살 맛집. If there is no sottukkeong pork belly restaurant, try the franchise pork restaurant 하남돼지집 that also grills kimchi for you. 2. Cheese Dakgalbi (Marinated chiken dish with cheese toppings) Chuncheon is famous for the originality of these food but Dakgalbi restaurant is in everywhere in korea. Don't forget to add cheese topping and after meal fried rice on the grill that you ate Dakgalbi! when you search, copy and paste 닭갈비 맛집. 3. GUK-BAP (국밥) That means korean traditional way of eating. Rice and Soup. There are many kind of GUK-BAP in korea. GUK-BAP with pork (famous in busan), beef, ...etc. when you search copy and paste 돼지국밥 맛집or 소고기해장국 맛집or 삼계탕 맛집or 콩나물국밥 맛집or 양평해장국 맛집 4. JJIgae (찌개) That means korean soul soup. Famous one is KIMCHI-JJIgae which mainly uses kimchi, and the other is Soy bean JJIgae which could be the main dish, but also a side dish when you eat pork belly bbq. when you search, copy and paste 김치찌개 for kimchi-jjigae, 된장찌개 for soy bean jjigae or 순두부찌개 for tofu jjigae or 차돌된장찌개 or 등갈비김치찌개 5. JJIM (찜) JJIM is somewhat similar to JJIgae but it has less soup in it. It uses special machine to use pressure (sometimes) to cook the dish using kimchi or fish or beef or pork or etc. when you search copy and paste 김치찜 맛집 for Kimchi-JJIM, 아구찜 맛집 or 생선찜 맛집 or 동태찜 맛집 for fish-JJIM 맛집and 갈비찜 맛집for meat with soy sauce. 6. CHIKEN AND BEER AND RAMYEON at Han-river at NIGHT This is special experience in seoul. The view at Han-river at Night is so good that even seoul citizens occationally go there. 7. Sot-bap with fish Sot-bap is the rice that is only cook for you with special cooking machine that uses pressure to make a good rice. With rice, there are may side dishes that is given when you order sot-bap. Usually main side dishes are grilled fish or tteok-galbi which made with beef. when you search copy and paste 솥밥맛집. 8. Tang Tang is also a soup dish, but the difference is it is still cooked when you eat dish as the meat makes deeper flavor to tang. when you seach copy and paste 감자탕 맛집 8. Hardcore try if you search restaurants with these keyword, they are somewhat hardcore that even some koreans don't eat some cases. But most of those are very popular foods. when you search, copy and paste 회 맛집 or 곱창 맛집 or 선지해장국 맛집 or 내장탕 맛집 My english is bad.

Loved watching your video today! The congestion meter was probably created to prevent too many people from gathering, especially after the Itaewon incident. Additionally, many of the buildings visible from the Lotte Tower are apartment complexes. Despite the large number of apartments in the city and in vicinity of Seoul, not many people actually own them, leading to housing issues. This seems to be a downside of capitalism, whether in the U.S. or Korea.

11:32 "Basketball player statue...Laos flag" Zane: That's Olympic Road and is where the 1988 Summer Olympics were held (Jamsil), which is why there are giant statues depicting the various sports represented at those Olympics, including the nations' flags.
