Can someone explain the argument for clove needing to be in a double smoke comp? Other than viper being meta i dont see why she couldnt replace omen in any single controller setup, as long as your team has enough flashes and anchoring

I believe the double controller argument is usually brought up around the context of Pro play. In ranked it wouldn't be so much of an issue. I think also, the meta has Omen rated so highly for his teleports and the lane-wide blind for combos

I mean I agree but you can't call them the best in the world if they can't secure one map (or, fun fact, more than 5 attacking rounds) against a new roster. Both Navi and FNC probably would have performed better here given their LAN experience, but as Boaster said 'Lets just focus on getting there first'

The best team in the world if attended would've been embarrassed by sentinels. So be happy they didn't and stop coping. It has the same prestige as any other masters.

bro if this was any other team Sideshow would just flat out say they are the best team right now. But because it's sen my man is like, "Hold on even though they played the most games out of ANY team, and even though they had the HARDEST bracket, IDK I'm not convinced they're the best because some of their games were REALLY close." Like come on dude they won masters and dominated performance wise. What more do they have to prove?

Something funny I realized: I did my pick 'ems for Americas Stage 1 & somehow I have EG topping Group B. Hear me out: ~ Sentinels come in loose, lose to 100 Thieves. ~ 100 Thieves then get brought back down to Earth by G2. ~ EG anti-strat NRG to oblivion & beat them in an upset. ~ LOUD & Leviatan lose to both Sentinels & NRG. ~ Everyone beats G2, KRU & Cloud 9 (except 100T losing to G2). ~ EG end up 4-1, 100T, LOUD & Leviatan end up 3-2. Also, I think Sentinels come in loose & fuck around a bit in the Stage & still probably go 5-1 or 4-2. Even if they lose to 100T. They kinda have LOUD's number, Leviatan's vibes are seriously off & I don't think they'll be caught out as much by EG's anti-strats.

The amount of disrespect these guys have for loud is irrational, honestly. Before the season started they treated Loud as a dead team without aspas. They qualified to Madrid losing by a 1 map difference to SEN in the finals, lost to gen G almost winning icebox, lost to SEN almost winning on sunset, and they are now treated as non deserving of the top 4 because they did not play KC or HER. Incredibly biased

I think there's a certain amount of the criticism that is definitely fair, but I do think they are slightly too extreme about it right now. Their comps are not good enough and they've so far been very insistent on trying to make it work. They beat the two teams that definitely seemed to be the weakest at the tournament and avoided playing two teams that lost to the same opponents as themselves but showcased a much better game throughout Kickoff and Masters than Loud. That's just to say that having a top 4 placement at the tournament doesn't mean they were the 4th best team there-or the 4th best in the world. A lot of the problem comes down to their comps, which is certainly a fixable problem, but just because a problem can be solved doesn't mean that it will, and Loud haven't showed an intention to do so, even as the holes in their game plan have been exposed by better teams. Just as PRX gets criticism for bad comps, so should Loud. It's only fair. Loud definitely have the potential to be a real top team, but as the season goes on and more teams are developing, they're gonna have to admit that they were wrong about agents comps and change up (or else show that they were right all along somehow, but I don't think anyone expects that to happen).

kangkang has top 2 acs in the whole tournament but he looked totally lost against loud especially in icebox. he came in at like 280 acs before the loud match and ended at 250 just under zekken
